Exactly, so why exactly should they be going out of their way to entice third parties to their systems? It was a strategy that saw limited success. They've got great initial sales numbers looking at the whole launch window, with a great attach rate. One thing they can bank on is that their games sell systems. I agree they should be putting out more 1st party titles, and now that their launch strategy didn't pan out I've no doubt that's exactly what we'll see them do.

They need to entice 3rd parties because a heap of developers have already written the wii u off and if it was just first party titles on the console we would be waiting a year between releases.
