Cross game chat anyone? Seriously they need this just to make the online perfect.

Well being Wii U has online for why not add that why not add cross game invites! Nintendo and Sony have this online gaming in there hand, why i say that its free! they just need to add the simple things to make it better, and people will wake up and not pay for online gaming!

-MP4 support, it would be great watching movies on the gamepad
-Ability to play music in the background
-OPTIONAL cloud support for game saves and software.
-PDF reader (not necessary but would be great)

What i think the WiiU needs is a heap of indie support.

You can change that in the settings...

I agree with the Music Player idea, I don't do online stuff much but sure add cross-game voice chat.
I also with they add folders like with the 3DS. So I can make a "Demo" and "Useless (Parent controls)" folders.

Too many things to list. The Wii U has a mega ton of potenial for many things like drawing, media playing, camera, communicating, etc. So much can be done with what we've got.

Not everthing is fine! load times etc need to be fixed, they can always add more and make it better! Like another thing like music in game, cross game voice chat, cross game invites thats always a nice thing to have

I would appreciate Nintendo fixing the sound issues:  Not able to make sourrounf sound or Dolby HD available on Netflix , and, not able  to decode Dolby Digital when playing Wii games which originally were recorded in that format.

Nintendo, please fix it.

I hate saying this but Wii U needs apps, like what Apple has on the iPad. They are trying to make the gamepad work as a tablet replacement (at home anyways) but they don't have enough apps. For example, they have stuff like video streaming (i.e. Netflix, Hulu Plus), web browsing, and social networking but I think that they should implement stuff like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, TwitchTV, Pandora, iTunes, email, Skype etc.. These are just examples of what Nintendo could implement into the console to make it more of an entertainment center, which is something Nintendo has never really done before. This combined with all the great gaming experiences, MiiVerse, and Nintendo TVii would make the Wii U the best entertainment system in the market. But Nintendo needs to start this and make deals with these people to get this stuff made.

The other things I want for Wii U is a Xbox Live Party like system for cross-game chat, and them to fix their Video Chat.

- 3DS cross play. For example transfer your save file from say Resident Evil Revelations or Smash bros 3DS over to your Wii U console version and Carry on at home

- 3D games support for 3D televisions

- Using the Microphone on the gamepad as standard com in games

- Universal Trophy system, I'm not an achievement nut but a universal system makes sense

I'd say ethernet port but you can get a Nintendo approved USB to ethernet dongle for less than £10 from amazon

A wii U-centric economy of game stars, which represent an alternative to money for items like DLC, games, etc.

ie: Let's say DLC exists for "Zelda: The Terror of the Triforce." The DLC would be something like a new dungeon or something.

It costs $9.99. But there would be an alternative to paying cash - stars. The more stars you earn by playing the game and accomplishing things, the more you have to spend.

sort of a return to the glory days of gaming, where there was no such thing as "on disc DLC." it was called unlocks. You accomplish certain things in the game to unlock extras. Only this would be a way to do it in the new era, while also providing a continued monetization system for publishers and at the same time, not making in mandatory.

It would not only invest people more into the game (quite possible making them WANT to buy more game related items), but it would a way to provide options to gamers. And the stars should be moderately difficult to receive.

You know what? Scratch STARS. Let's just call them "COINS."

It's already a Nintendo game staple.

so keep the term and it even makes economically relateable sense. "Collect coins in-game or purchase them and spend them on eShop!"
