Konami job listing confirms MGS: Ground Zeroes coming to PC/PS4/720

Get ready for a treat Metal Gear Solid fans, as we have new indications suggesting that the next Metal Gear game is coming to the PC. According to a job list (that went live yesterday), Konami is seeking for a level designer, as well as other people to join the team. As we can see, Konami is interested in project engineers for the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC. Yeap, you read that right. The next Metal Gear Solid game is coming to high-end consoles and PC. This is as official as it can possibly get.


Here is the full studio and job list descriptions:


“Kojima Productions will be returning to the GDC Career Pavilion (March 6th – 9th) to search for skillful engineers, artists, and game creators including:
-Project engineers for the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC
-Engineers to help develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the “FOX Engine.”
-Kojima Productions Brand Manager
If you are interested in becoming part of our team, please visit the Konami Group booth, #1914, in the Career Pavilion.
We look forward to meeting lots of enthusiastic and talented candidates.”

Job Description

Main Work Duties:
-Game design on the set with the game designer
-Designing a stage suitable for the game objective
-Creating assets for models, sounds and programs for each required specification

Qualifications:
-Has professional work experience with 3D modeling tools
-Skills in drawing realistic buildings and natural geological features suitable for the game concept
-Interested in the process of creating the game itself by planning and designing the game settings
-Ability to rationally analyze the good and bad of a game
-Aware of visual effects in games
-Great communication skills in coordinating peers
-Passionate in creating a highly entertaining game
-High communication skills
-Possesses verbal and written communication skills in English or Japanese
-Maintains schedules and can work well under pressure
-Has the ability to maintain their own motivation, has excellent work ethics, and works well with others.

Preferences:
-Experience in level designing 3D action games

Of course. The trailer sure wasn't running in the ps3 or 360.

It does exceed those systems until it is stripped down.

But it's fairly underwhelming if those graphics are what are displayed in the psO and XboX.

It didn't. It was on the MSX2 and NES long before that.

OK maybe I was a little harsh. But the Wii U is going to have to move some hardware for Konami to consider porting it. Plus we don't even know if they can port it without them taking too much out graphically.
