Crytek boss Cevat Yerli, restricted by non-disclosure agreements with both Microsoft and Sony, told Eurogamer Crysis 3 running on a powerful PC looks better than next-generation games due to be announced. Indeed, he said it is "impossible" for consoles to match gaming PCs.

Between Epic and Crytek im confused over what the next-gen specs, though just to see the reaction from graphic-loving Sonydrones and M$ fanboys, i hoping Crytek is right about this.

People think that next-gen consoles will come even near what a high end PC can do now, or even what it could have done a few years ago?

Yes. Yes people honestly do. Not only do they think it, but they expect it. They believe full heartedly that ps4/720 will blow away pc's for the first few years.

The mental gymnastics on display in the near future are going to be amazing.
