lots of memory is essential for both the CPU & GPU to create large & alive game worlds

If Killzone was running with 4gb gddr5. Well Wii. Great move by Sony providing they can shift the hardware come release. Developers seem very, very happy with this.

ill pass, i had to many xboxs die on me and paying for online hell no..and halo halo gears of war gears of war kinda get sick of the same games all the time..sticking with wii u and ps4/ps3 this time around!

i love all the games on playstation, they all are awsome and i never get sick of them..xbox blah..jumped to Wii u because its HD and was dieing to see Mario in HD, but just going with Wii u for something new its a change..Nes was all time fav system lol funney thing after nes i stoped with nintendo all together so being to back too Nintendo feals awsome lol

Seems like a beautifully designed console. I'd say that it, if a game is built from the ground up, can definately compete with modern computers in graphical terms, if not better because of its closed hardware.

That's the only concern I have for the PS4 at this point. Sony cannot afford another "$599 US DOLLARS" situation again, regardless of what kind of tech is under the hood. It'll be interesting to see how they approach the pricing.

Yeah probably not. Look for at least $450ish in the US but probably more like $499 or $550. Look for something around 350-400GBP in the UK.

I suppose that's why it has the assist CPU for those background tasks...

Guessing $550 in the US too.
But they may go for $500.
Lose about $75 per console.
Really surprised about the last gen controller. Big let-down.
At least it let's them spend more on power.
