Posted by Whelp that is exactly that I did. A Best Buy employee gave me a hard time and was very rude but I got an even exchange. When I powered it and the gamepad on it immediately had a dialogue after the logo screen before I even pressed Sync!
If anybody else has this issue just return it!!!
