Oh I remember that day I went to a restaurant and had dinner with friends and there was that boy (obviously a friend's friend)... We were talking about gaming in a responsible way, meaning no fanboyism nor bashing, until we started fangasming about the Wii U. The guy turned to face me with a deadly expression then told me: "Nintendo sucks". As if it wasn't surprising enough, he said: "They always had the worst graphics in history of gaming. They are the newest company on the market, therefore have no experience, plus they dont have enough money to make their next console HD".
Believe me, he wasn't trolling. Oh I had so much fun dissing him and busting his arguments. I just thanked him at the end for entertaining me so much... Hell he didn't even know about the generations system...

Am I the only one who is surprised by the Wii U selling out so fast!? I mean have you seen one ad or commercial? The Wii didn't explode until everyone started seeing all the commercials with familys playing Wii Sports and all that. All I gots to say is wow the future of the Wii U is looking pretty good with all the support from fans. Let's hope the big third party devs and publishers realize and put there games on the superior console!

Why would you pre-order games in the first place if you don't like em?
Looks like you didn't even check what the launch games were, or check out the games before forming an opinion about them.
Also, imho, this is one of the best launch line ups I've seen. Not all the games appeal directly to me but there is something for everyone to try and quite a few highly rated or anticipated games.
As other people have said before (like Crackkat above me as I was typing this). Third parties been struggling selling games on Nintendo consoles because of releases from games like Mario and Zelda. Leaving out the big guns and having Pikmin only available at the end of the launch window this allows 3rd parties to showcase their games.

I'm in the complete opposite situation. I'm overwhelmed by the launch titles I want to get, on top of the console itself, data storage and accessories.

How dare you insult ocarina, it may be old, but it is not boring under any circumstance :l
Although if you have played it before don't get it cause not much has changed and you might wanna spend your money on something new. But I bought ocarina first ad I've played it five times and the sixth was just as wonderful as the first five.

Oh this is great!! HTML5 support is a nice quirk. I'm happy this isn't something they slabbed on sloppily.I'm hoping this isn't as stiff feeling as the 3DS one though.

PSNext 4k? Please, current affordable graphics cards have trouble running games at decent quality at 2560X1600 at 60fps. 4K is a no go, but the thing is current GPUs (Nvidia 600 series and AMD 7000) series can support 4K output, for like movies and computer desktops, but games are just a no go.
If these people want to say the Wii U is going to be outdated at least do some research, state that how games like starwars 1313 are a clear example of what next gen should be and that if rumours of the Wii U having a R700 GPU then it will be in trouble, as recently the 7000 and 600 series GPUs have had a major architecture change, that allows them to get crazy performance and with technologies like TXAA, offer FXAA at a lower hit at frame rates.
That's what they should be comparing, a lot of these Nintendo are losing articles have no idea about game performance, they know nothing about the PC gaming space to even try to understand the console gaming space.
