#248933 Wii U Summer/Fall Update

Posted by Kokirii on 30 September 2013 - 07:18 PM

How is the picture quality of Wii games on the gamepad? With it being a native 480p screen I would imagine that it looks really sharp.

Yes, I do have to say that what I've tested so far looks EXCELLENT.  Twilight Princess, which on my HDTV looks like a muddy, blurry mess, looks PERFECT.  Everything is crisp and easy to see.

#221633 The Wii U should have been as powerful as the Xbox one.

anyways, Im not getting a xbox one, nor a ps4, im going to get me a second hand 360 to tide me over till the zelda's and Mario's release, even call of duty is pointless playing, the only mode populated is team deathmatch

MS did say there are well over or around 100 new titles coming to 360 yet, that system has a shelf life for a few more years easily. Quite amazing. Heck, new games are coming to the DS and Wii yet too... shows you that it isn't about graphics, it's about the games.

We know pretty much everything about its gameplay. You dont know anything.... Probably because you didnt play its predecessor.

Visual prowess doesnt scale linearly with the increase of the systems power, unfortunately, its quite the opposite.

Welcome to the law of diminishing returns.

#206314 Sick of reading rubbish about the console, Dont care!

The graphic wars really started to heat up during the N64 days, but it really was this past generation that things reach such proportions.

I too miss the days when people discussed what games they had more fun with instead of discussing specs and how a console in next gen if it goes that far in power.

Everything remains on the wii if it's illegitimate.

#162859 Nintendo apologizes for lack of Wii U software

Posted by Nollog on 25 January 2013 - 06:34 AM

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to throw around the word entitled which is simply stupid in this context. People want more games, and wish there could have been more forward planning for that to have happened, there is nothing entitled about that.

As for Nintendo apologizing, they have no good reason to. The release schedule has been known up to this point before the wiiU launched (with some minor exceptions).

Back in my day, you'd get 2 games every 6 months and you'd be happy, because you had outside, and you also had homework to do.
