#188371 Official Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Discussion

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 30 March 2013 - 05:08 PM

I just ordered this game, you might see some posts from me around the forum saying that after I had played the demo I didn't like it and that it's an aquired taste, well I honestly think I just aquired that taste lol, I've been playing the demo over and over and I've seen a couple of reviews and tons of gameplay videos and this game not only looks and feels FUN IT'S HUGE!!!!! I really am sure I will get my moneys worth and I was wrong itis my type of game, I should be getting it about Monday or Tuesday so I'll see you online and on MiiVerse! :D

This is a great series, all people need to do is be patient and give it a chance

I wouldn't say I feel that strongly   But Nintendo really need a better PR company to advertise for them.

Or a PR company in general.

#184779 Wii U Trophy/Achievement Petition

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 20 March 2013 - 11:39 PM

I remember reading somewhere that they left the achievements to game developers to deal with for in game. I myself wasn't a big fan of achievements and trophies, I like to play games for their enjoyment factor, not to brag to my friends that I'm better them them because I have more achievements. But that's just me :D

#183532 Wii U sells 4 times worse than PS3 and Xbox

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 17 March 2013 - 03:56 AM

it is not first party game that are needed it is third party games that are desperately needed !

Who's gonna buy the Wii U for 3'rd party games avaliable on PS3 or Xbox ? Not me.

What attracted me to the Wii U was third party support. I have black ops on Xbox 360, however I play it on the Wii U because I feel it's more laid back plus the off screen play and stuff is cool.

#180591 what can Nintendo do to win EA back

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 08 March 2013 - 08:18 AM

I know some people will say the only reason everyone hates EA is because it's the "cool" thing to do, I for one hate EA for numerous reasons; for instance the fact they release Battlefield 3 which felt like another beta only to realize "oh yeah we're going to release Battlefield 4 soon", maybe you should have polished what you had before the release and keep with it. The micro transactions and one time use online codes, EA has really become the money grubbing pigs of the gaming community. Finally when it comes to community support I feel the console users aren't taken serious enough and the PC crowd is loved much more, the console crowd is just a cash cow being exploited and not looked after.

a large dwinddling group of fanboys. that is all

I just bought my Wii U 4 days ago....I just want to see the company that everyone seems to joke about on the other consoles rise up and become a force to be reckoned with

bit of a broad statement too say their games suck i think we are missing a hell of a lot not having them dead space 3 was amazing mass effect is my favourite game series and i really like battlefield and army of two so i would hope nintendo can have them onboard tbh as it will hurt them to not have one of the biggest publishers putting their best games on wii u.

I feel that EA's titles namely Battlefield have degraded over the years on consoles. Yeah Mass Effect is an awesome IP, but it isn't like they are the only developer and/or producer in the world. Yes EA is big but what's to say that Nintendo and it's developers can't make a new IP smash hit that is Nintendo exclusive? ESPECIALLY considering the Wii U and its unknown capabilities, couple that with Nintendo's revolutionary way of thinking and underdog spirt and I'd say there is a real diamond in the rough here. Not to mention titles such as Super Mario Bros and Super Smash Bros which I played in my childhood I still view today as some of the best games I have ever played, I can't think of any titles that come close to how I feel about those.

What can EA do to win Nintendo back is what you mean. Their games suck and they wanted to take over the Nintendo Network? Move on Nintendo you're not missing anything with these guys.

The graphical capabilities will be different however the Wii U caters to a different audience than the PS4 and Xbox 720. I'm happy with the Wii U because of the games it has and the community seems more laid back than other communities.

#180190 Why are people doubting Wii U now because of PS4?

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 07 March 2013 - 09:28 AM

Everyone is all about graphics these days, I was huge on them too but buying the Wii U reminded me that simple games were the most fun. However the Wii U has some awesome graphical capabilities

I haven't played the Dragon Quest series in years I would be overjoyed to see a Dragon Quest title on the Wii U for North America

#179310 Hello there everyone!

Posted by ArmedPrimate on 04 March 2013 - 11:39 PM

Literally days ago I bought the Wii U ZombiU Deluxe Set, I love it! I've mainly played on the PS3 and Xbox 360, laughing at whatever Nintendo released; however the Wii U really captured my attention, I took a risk buying it and it turned out to be well worth it. However I feel pretty lonely online even with the Miiverse! So I searched google for an active community and here I am! My name is Wes, I'm 19 years old and have been playing video games all through my childhood. I currently reside in beautiful Vancouver, Canada and work as a sales associate at a huge sports retail chain. How is everyone doing!?
