Nope it did not. It was unprofitable so they scrapped plans for a sequel.
Half a million sales for a niche horror title on a newly launched system is great. If it was unprofitable that is simply poor management on Ubisoft's side.

I cannot wait to be able to afford one of these. The biggest flaw of the gamepad is the battery life in my opinion.

I have a Wii U and a PS4. No way in hell I am buying the Wii U version. Even though there is no possibility of what you want happening, I would skip watchdogs all together if it did.
Wii U is what it is. A machine intended to play Nintendo only games. I am actually very curious how the Wii U version sells. I am guessing not well.
And I have a Wii U and Xbox One and shall be getting the Xbox version. 3rd parties have shown they can't be arsed with Wii U so I'm done with them at this point.
Also, this nonsense about Watch Dogs was posted ages ago and it was ridiculous then.
I'm pretty convinced this is a guy trolling at this point as he said he had sold the Wii U then suddenly he was getting one, now suddenly he's a big fan? Yeah sure.
3rd party games won't sell Wii U. Ubisoft would not kill years of development for new consoles to make a Wii U exclusive this close to launch. Ridiculous.

I believe what he's saying is that there shouldn't be this kind of 'standard' for how good a game is.
If you enjoy it then it's not bad. So Knack is however good you think it is. There is a set quality of Knack or anything else, it just depends on whether you enjoy it and that's all that matters.

Why? Because of the short term gains due only to the fact it was out a year earlier? It its a complete waste of money unless all you wish to play are Nintendo games. The future is much brighter overall with the PS 4.
The PS 4 may not be a must buy right now. I give you that. But to advise investing in a Wii U if they don't know the lack of long term 3 rd party support is bad advice.
The Wii U is a niche system for gamers who like Nintendo products. It is a second system at best.
It entirely depends on what you like. Not everyone cares about 3rd party games. Right now all I care about it Titanfall and Watch Dogs. I'm playing Assassins Creed and Batman as well.
The only thing lacking about the Wii U so far is that there isn't enough Nintendo games for it.

I can see a difference but nothing too great. I think I'll be pretty happy with the Wii U version.

playing this online about a hour ago there was only 1400 people playing on the WiiU, near enough impossible to get a game 
I've had absolutely no problems getting a game. It's worked perfectly for me.

Sometimes I don't like not having such streamlined online features, but at the same time as a family man I really appreciate the fact that Nintendo is the only console manufacturer/game publisher left that really emphasizes local co-op. The claim of modern online gaming is that the machines are connecting people, and it is nice to be able to play games with people that don't live nearby, but I think they're also disconnecting us from those around us. I appreciate robust local co-op features that encourage gaming as a family, with friends, etc all in the same room where we can see each other and really enjoy the experience together.
Totally agree. I spend far more time playing on the same console with my girlfriend than I do online with strangers.
