Nope. ts;wa

At least Ubisoft's ports are pretty decent. They might not be using Wii U as their source for games (which they should have for games only coming to PS3360 and Wii U imo) but at least the ports good I mean splinter cell blacklist could be considered the best version of the game. The only category it really loses in is load times.

I agree. Just Dance always gives my family a fun evening. Most of their games have flaws, but they are always great games. I'm looking forward to Watchdogs. That thing seems to be the first true display of WiiU's quality and a great sandbox with a cool theme.

That's why EA is being such an annoying 3rd party that went as far as making public statements that deteriorates WiiU's image early in it's life cycle. Even if those statements were true (which many recent games are proving wrong), it's still a very bad practice for a company to suddenly say bad things about a long time partner.

EA seems to be a very evil company. Too bad it makes good games. I don't want to support them. I'd rather support Ubisoft's poor work. I don't like any of EA's games anyway.

What do you mean by "joining a city"?  How does that work and what are the cities for?

Cities are how you find groups.

For early gamers, you go online and enter one of the "Free" servers. "G-rank" servers are for end game players. This game has a huge replay value after you reach end game. That's why the "G-rank" servers are so full. Everyone spends time there making new end game weapons and armor.

When you pick a server, you'll find the arenas. Those are just to split people in groups of 100. Inside the arenas you can create cities.

Cities can contain 4 players. The 4 players hunt together. You should always try to find cities that match your desires. If you want to farm Rathalos for materials, search for a Rathalos city, for example. That way you'll be always playing with people that share your goals. You can start new cities too if you didn't find any already open that matches your goals.

Don't worry, there's still hundreds of people playing.

I strongly suggest that you first play through the offline a little bit (at least until rathian).

If you find it hard to grasp the first concepts (because the game won't tell you), talk to people or watch let's plays on youtube. There's a lot of let's plays that cover the basics of the game.

Remember to look for people of the same rank as you when joining a city. There are three tiers of dificulty: low rank, high rank, and G rank. Look for low rank cities and have fun!

Well, wiiU's install base is very low at the moment, but there is a chance that it will grow strong now that their big games are being released in the course of three months (Wii sports, wii fit, wii party, zelda, dkc, mario). Because of that I think that many games will be played late in their lifecycle.

I've seen a lot of new wiiU owners buying games like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and New Super Mario Bros U, which were released quite some time ago, but are exclusives and amazing games. W101 may be a release failure, but it can grow strong with time.
