#14721 Monster Hunter for Wii U?

Posted by BobTheism on 15 July 2011 - 09:32 AM in Wii U Games and Software

As for the difficulty debate; the difficulty is fine the way it is, I like a good challenge HOWEVER, I would like to see them fix some sadistic drop rates. After bringing down my fifth Rathian and still not getting the plate I needed for my armour I was not enjoying myself too much.

I also want a new game from the Mana series!

Yes! In the classic Secret of Mana style with three (or maybe four now?) active characters that can be controlled by other players!

Also, whoever said "a new Retro Studios Metroid", as much as I love the Prime games, I think Retro is done with Metroid. This might sound crazy but I actually want to see what Retro could do with Zelda.

... or F-Zero.

We need moar pokémon trainers with different pokémon. In my mind the pokémon trainer from Brawl (and thank god he wasn't Ash) was one of the more fun characters because there is such variation as a result of the different pokémon. Maybe there could even be like ten different pokémon that would be compatible with the trainer and then you chose three of them. That would be awesome!

I'm hoping for a few ports and/or sequels to the few games that almost had me buying an HD console before Nintendo made one. These include:

Red Dead, a brand new one or Redemption makes no difference.
Assassins Creed, confirmed.
Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City is confirmed.
Just Cause, preferably 3 but a port of 2 would be alright.

These are the big ones I care about and half of them are confirmed so I'm pretty happy right now.

I would love a second Metroid Character in the series. Either Ridley, Dark Samus, S-AX, Sylux, or Anthony Higgs (or many of them)!

S-AX should totally be there! Could be like an alternative skin to Samus with a unique final smash (Monster Version).

Thank you very much. What can I say...? I'm a thinker and a believer. **(:))**

You wouldn't happen to have one in mind would you? LOL!

I was actually kind of hearing "Pomp & Circumstance" in my head as I read your post. :(

Thumbs up bro. **(:))**

In my opinion...Nintendo has created MORE than just another Nintendo game. They've created something truly special for the ENTIRE video game universe. To me, Super Smash Bros. is a celebration, a gathering, a Hall of Fame. I believe every important video game character that has truly helped shape this industry in some way should be celebrated on this game, and we will eventually see that day.

Super Smash Bros. is more than a game, it's like a video game museum! I'm not just a Nintendo fan...I'm a video game fan!

I also believe that someday, we will ALL see the day when the video game industry as a whole realises this...THEN Super Smash Bros. will become what it was destined to be from the VERY START!

It will become what the Super Bowl is to football fans...it will become what WrestleMania is to wrestling fans...it will be a sort of gathering that happens every few years like the olympics...it will be a gathering of the franchises from every side of the globe to come and show respect, do battle, and CELEBRATE the video game industry as a whole!

PLEASE! Put more characters into the SMASH of FAME!!! **(:()**

Woah, I think you need an anthem to go with that speech...

#11184 Nintendo Not Looking to be #1 Online

Couch Multiplayer is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000X BETTER than ONLINE!!!!!

Agreed. We need more games like Secret of Mana. Those were the days...

Pretty good prediction. Many people HAVEN'T thought about this.

I think Rayman would be the type of character that would kinda give the ..."Huh? He's in the game, too?!!" type reaction that ROB had on people.

I wouldn't count Rayman out at all. **(:D)**

I would love for Rayman to be in it. Been tinkering a bit on his potential moveset.

B - He spins his hand around like in Rayman 3 and the longer you charge the stronger it gets, obviously. A bit cliché in Smash Bros. but I would be surprised if they didn't put it in.
Side + B - He shoots out his hand and grabs someone, then pulls himself to them. Can also be used to grab an edge of the stage (like the grapple beam or clawshot.
Up + B - Helicopter hair. What else?
Down + B - Not quite sure about this one. Could be something crazy like "Pulls out Rabbid that does something random!" or just something simple like "Uses hair to create tornado!". Suggestions?

As for regular attacks they could be characterised (spelling?/non-native english speaker) by long range as he literaly throws punches far away from him.

Seriously though, Rayman is one of my favourite video game characters and Rayman 2 is one of my favourite platformers. I would positively love him in Smash Bros.

#8564 Let's talk Zelda Wii U

I'm noticing in the "Tech demo to final version comparison"-picture that the style always changed from the tech demo to the final version. However, I would actually not mind the semi-realistic design of Twilight Princess as long as they stick to the outlandish character design (a certain cannon-operator comes to mind).

#7615 Wii U will not play DVD's Do you care?

Posted by BobTheism on 16 June 2011 - 09:11 AM in Wii U Hardware

The XBox 360 and PS3 use way more power than regular DVD-players when they play movies. For this reason I never use my Xbox for DVD's. I imagine the same would be the case with the Wii U.
