#312471 Yoshi's Woolly World - Details, Analysis

Posted by Keviin on 29 April 2015 - 12:58 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Yeah, I heard about one "challenging" mode and one mode for newcomers/casuals.

#317294 Wii U System Turns 3, Happy Birthday

Posted by Keviin on 20 November 2015 - 05:24 AM in Wii U Hardware

I always thought the Wii U would slightly surpass Gamecube sales, but this is not going to happen..

Still, happy 3 years. I've had one for about 2 now.

#312806 Wii U Software Sales & Wii Us sold. How do these numbers work?

Posted by Keviin on 10 May 2015 - 05:08 AM in Wii U Games and Software

the attach rate is actually insanely good for Wii U 1st party games

Thread here http://thewiiu.com/t...games-revealed/

There are quite a few people here who don't have a Wii U, or simply bought it for one or two games (SMASH, BAYO, MK8) .

Really impressed with Luigi U's sales. We need more Luigi games.

#312157 Wii U Silent Evil first screens

Posted by Keviin on 19 April 2015 - 05:21 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Is the title a joke?

#316403 Wii U lifetime sales pass 10 million, Splatoon sells 1.62m

Posted by Keviin on 01 August 2015 - 10:26 AM in Wii U News

I was hoping it would at least surpas Gamecube sales, now I'm hoping it reaches 15 million.

#316843 Who would buy a Wii U now?

Posted by Keviin on 09 September 2015 - 10:30 AM in Wii U Hardware

My friend is considering buying one for Mario Maker.

#312907 What's in store for the 3DS?

Posted by Keviin on 12 May 2015 - 09:10 AM in General Gaming

e3 should give us a better picture. I think we have a year and a half or so yet of releases... I would expect another main mario title on the 3ds and a few more n3ds exclusives.

Nintendo usually doesn't have more than two main Mario games on a handheld, but somehow I expect one. I'm just getting tired of the NSMB style, and I've had enough 3D land/world style for a while as well. Maybe they should revamp 2D Mario.

We know there has been work on a 3DS Metroid, but will it be ready anytime soon?

#312855 What's in store for the 3DS?

Posted by Keviin on 11 May 2015 - 05:34 AM in General Gaming

I've been discussing this with a friend, and to be fair, the 3DS already has an impressive line-up. However, there's literally not a single interesting game on the way that appeals to me. So what do you think? Will Nintendo announce something good at E3? How long will the 3DS last? And more importantly, where the F is our 3DS Metroid?

#312978 What's in store for the 3DS?

Posted by Keviin on 13 May 2015 - 10:36 AM in General Gaming

Was that not cancelled? The Next Level Games Metroid.

Yeah, think he is referring to this though http://kotaku.com/ni...troi-1590142491

The Next Level Metroid was cancelled, but since Nintendo claims to be working on 2 types of Metroid, they might revive the project. The concept art looked amazing IMO, so I hope they do. (just predicting a lot of butthurt fanboys for Nintendo using a different artstyle)

#317187 What games would make the NX launch successful?

Posted by Keviin on 09 November 2015 - 04:47 AM in General Gaming

New Metroid = day 1 buy for me and a lot of dedicated gamers.

#317280 What do you want the NX to be or what do you think it will be?

Posted by Keviin on 18 November 2015 - 06:11 AM in Wii U Hardware

"There should be little to no similarity to the Wii and Wii U"

This is important. The Wii was a succesful fad from 10 years ago, but people got over it. Core gamers don't really like it and casuals moved on. They need something new. I also think they should stop the DS branding. Nintendo needs something new that makes people go "Wow, this looks so cool and trendy, I need it!"

#312680 Unconfirmed: Nintendo’s Next Level Games Working on New Online Title

Posted by Keviin on 07 May 2015 - 06:54 AM in E3 2015

This better be Luigi's Mansion 3.

#316490 The Walking Dead series is possibly coming to Wii U

Posted by Keviin on 08 August 2015 - 05:31 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I played them on PC (best storytelling games I've played tbh) but it's good to see it coming to Wii U.

#312607 The more you think about it, the more tragic Majora's mask becomes.

Posted by Keviin on 05 May 2015 - 06:30 AM in General Gaming

(transformation) masks are faces of characters that have passed away. That's pretty tragic.

#316569 Super Princess Peach Maker

Posted by Keviin on 12 August 2015 - 09:22 AM in Wii U Games and Software

US overview video... i didn't know you can make your own sound effects and also place sound effects just about anywhere... and some even have a visual representation.

This got revealed today. Really cool.

#316971 Super Mario Maker: Course Sharing Thread

Yoshi's 8-bit world:
5247-0000-0082-09E4

Easy, relaxing and pretty to look at. Try to find the three secret 1-ups!

Save the Shrooms 2.0
313F-0000-0081-E33B

Fun, slightly challenging level where you need mushrooms. Try to find the secret exit!

Through Time and Space 1-1
B203-0000-007A-7546

Part 1 of a series. You start out as 8-bit mario and finish in HD.

I have plenty more. I love this game, but the upload limit is annoying. I would love more stars. I put a lot of time in these. I will check out your levels as well. :)

#316944 Super Mario Maker: Course Sharing Thread

Posted by Keviin on 20 September 2015 - 11:00 AM in Wii U Games and Software

yeah that is the easiest route i think

the path with the goombas is also a way of completing it, it takes you to an area where you get yoshi but i think it is slightly more challenging

these are the two most challenging levels i've played, i really want to beat them both but i get so frustrated

Even I get frustrated with my own level. No one else has beaten this level so far, I tend to think it's too hard and I should make easier levels.

Nice levels guys.

I would really, really appreciate it if you'd check out some of my levels. I created a very difficult level (took me at least 50 tries, finetuning and all.) I would like to apologize for an unfair death after the first blue platform, but all the other parts are fun tricky jumps. I spent a lot of time on it, but no one really seems to play it. I also have some fun medium-challenges.

The code is 70EB-0000-0038-2840. Good luck guys.

#316573 Super Mario Maker: 60 Levels Confirmed; One by Rayman's Michel Ancel

Posted by Keviin on 12 August 2015 - 11:39 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I have a really specific question if anyone knows the answer. Have ALL of the abillites of the respective generations been preserved? The one I'm thinking of in particular is the SMW ability to throw shells upwards. If I remember rightly, that only existed in that generation. They removed it for the more recent games and you could only throw shells left or right.

Throwing shell upwards confirmed.

I hope it is. It makes for smoother gameplay and could be used for simple puzzles and such. Keep me posted if you find out.

#316489 Super Mario Maker: 60 Levels Confirmed; One by Rayman's Michel Ancel

Posted by Keviin on 08 August 2015 - 05:30 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Not bad, but disappointing compared to the 100 levels were told previously. But I heard Nintendo will make new levels and release them online as well, so whatever.

The only downside so far is that there seem to be some elements missing that I would like to return. People have done many things with golden shells in lunar magic, for example. I also love chargin' chucks, baby Yoshi's, SMB2 Vegetables and vertical levels (especially the ones without walls). Stuff like this and maybe an overworld editor would make good DLC.
