The soundtrack is good, and it fits the game perfectly. What more could you want?

I think it looks fun. I really dig the art-style.

I thought Nintendo already owned Next Level Games?
Also, yes, they should buy Avalanche Studios - just for Just Cause.

In Brawl, Marth was my second - just behind Ike. So glad he's in this one again.

The controls are as tight as capcom/clover/platinums best. And there is an option for EVERYTHING, got a move you never like to use but sometimes accidentally draw it instead of something you want? You can actually turn the move off.
The drawing on the screen is self explanatory and simple (I dont like it because i dont want to take my hands off the controls), and with the right stick, its an improved version of okami's celestial brush.
The actual button controls are the best out there, but the game gives nothing to you, you earn everything. Anyone can stumble through the game like a chump, but, and you can already check this out on youtube, platinum/pure platinum runs showcases how deep the rabbit hole goes if you have the skills.
How much you can enjoy the game can literally be seen by how interesting it is to watch you play.

Apparantly Italians love it. Hmm... makes sense.
Well, I loved Ninja Gaiden 3 (Wii U) and Kid Icarus Uprising, both of which have apparently "difficult" controls, so I think I will love The Wonderful 101 as well.

Are the controls genuinely that bad? I haven't played the demo myself... from the sounds of the review, she was just a bit rubbish at the game.
To be fair though, Kid Icarus got unfairly treated due to its control scheme, which I loved.
I still really want The Wonderful 101, a lot.

The controls are a tad hard to get used to. At least in my experience, but I wasn't the only one. Multiple users here wasn't fond of the controls either.
To be honest though, I was more worried that the game would be easy, IGNs review has kind of made me want the game even more.

My brother should know about this (he always holds off until Zelda)!... Alas, he is but a poor student, this will pass him by.

In answer to the title: Yes. Quit asking.

They will never stop asking because drama is always more appealing to boring, dull stability
Drama eh? If they want drama, prepare for war.

I think Nintendo will go for a Nintendo Direct again. It would be good for them to have an on-stage presence again, but I do not like all the boring business talk that goes along with it.
Posted by Happy Monk on 08 March 2014 - 11:21 AM in General Gaming
No need to worry about nintendo business talk. There are not any good numbers to highlight except for 3ds and 1st party meta critic numbers
Yeah, and that's boring enough.

LEGO City, Nintendo Land (if you have enough people to play it with), Arkham City, Sonic Lost World, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
And maybe a loan to go with those.

Oh mighty master of proof. Please explain how come you are always pointing out excuses made by companies that hardly even touched the wii u. Oh please show me how amazingly these games were coded to use all cores when they were not. Please show how lack of load balancing and therefor using less than half the available CPU power yet still running games that somehow require a core that runs at double the clock because its so weak. I grovel at how good you are at explaining and proving points. Lay this wicked believer to rest with more bs. *bow bow*
This is one of the funniest things I have seen on this forum for a long time! Congrats!
The thing is, these threads are getting pretty ridiculous as we already know what the Wii U can do - using pure and simple knowledge and logic.
Iwata said that games such as Assassin's Creed III run using up to 50% of the Wii U's potential - proven by the fact they all seem to use just one of three cores available.
The Wii U is not as powerful as the PS4/Xboxone, but it isn't as far behind as people like to think.
But please carry on the pointless arguing, it's funny to see everyone ignore what everyone else has to say.

Star Fox, a true sequel to Lylat Wars.
A new Kirby game, don't care what it's like, Kirby can get away with anything.
F-Zero.
A true sequel to Dragonball Z Budokai Tenka'ichi 3 would be stellar.
Everything else is optional.

While a lot of people don't play madden, a lot of people do. I for one love sports games (real football games however, not this phoney baloney American Football rubbish).
It's quite a blow when Nintendo has received Madden games since 1991, and this one is the 25th anniversary version, It would not take much to quickly port it to the Wii U to keep some fans happy would it?
I'm just wary that we won't get FIFA 14 or the (hopefully) inevitable FIFA World Cup game. I have got every World Cup game since 1998 and have no plans of stopping this (a new world cup game is like a new Zelda game for me).

The Wii U seems to have a variety of strange and contradictory ports...

The OS will be faster (don't know how much by) and Nintendo TVii for Europe maybe?

The PS4 is not so far behind the Wii U's lifetime sales, and it has not come out in Japan yet. It's only been out for a few months and has already sold over 5 million - PS4 will win in terms of sales this generation that's for sure.
Posted by Happy Monk on 25 July 2013 - 01:53 PM in Wii U Hardware
1 million is quite the milestone, no matter when it happens. The more people that own something, the more likely it is that people will buy it based on recommendations from friends or family.
But yeah, 33 weeks to reach that number isn't all that impressive, if this happened a few weeks ago maybe it would be more impressive.

I've already got Lego City Undercover, Need For Speed, Assassin's Creed 3 + 4, Zombi U, Tekken, Ninja Gaiden 3, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty Black Ops II, Arkham City + Origins, Sonic Lost World + All Stars Racing Transformed, Deus Ex, Rayman Legends and Tank Tank Tank. Hoping to get Darksiders 2 and Injustice soon.
I've been good to third parties and I suggest other people follow suit.
