Two generations from now i see various things happening.

Microsoft drops out of the console market.

Sony manages to hang on but becomes less important though they have many important franchise's to though not as important as nin.

Apple joins the console market though not entirely on purpose .

Everybody is happy because Nintendo and apple will dominate

#59835 Not-clickable sliders, an issue?

Posted by neverwinteru on 05 February 2012 - 11:44 AM

Here's the way I see it:
Example - Call of Duty: Black Ops

Circle Stick 1: Forward/Back/Strafe
Circle Stick 2: Camera Control
L (That's the one at the very back): Aim
R: Shoot
ZL (On top): Primary Grenade
ZR: Secondary Grenade
Y: Reload
A: Action/Hold to run (Same as Wii Remote)
B: Pickup Weapon
X: Swap Weapon
D-Pad: Killstreaks/Equipment/Attachments
-: Scoreboard
+: Game Menu
Home: Wii U Menu
Swishing remote around like a madman: SLAAAAAAASH!

i just realized why this wont work and completly forgot why. there is no jump button assigned for the layout you just made

#57823 Wiiu Controller/Vitality Sensor?

Posted by neverwinteru on 27 January 2012 - 08:44 AM

I wonder how the vitality sensor can benefit video games that aren't in the fitness or horror genre?

Racing- Imagine your playing need for speed your going 200+ mph and your adrenaline is going so the controller reacts to this and activates an in game feature like tunnel vision.

Shooters- a whole concept could be built around implementing this feature simple things such as making the music louder when your heart rate jumps its would make scripted games feel less scripted.

Any game could really use this feature and make it subtle but still noticible as well as adding to another part of the games experience. Though survival horror games like Re 6 and dead space would greatly benefit from this.

But imagine how much more better an remake of eternal darkness would be if they really could monitor your heart rate and tie it in with the sanity meter.

and with recent rumors pointing towards a revival of that series i would love to have this in the game.

Of course this would all be optional and could allow developers to create very interactive experience's(if they actually choose to use it)

There must be a miscommunication, I was under the impression you were speaking about the graphics leap between the big 3 the next generation, which I don't believe will be that great. However, if you are speaking from this generation to the next, then you make a valid point.

ah yes thats exactly what it was. anyway im sure nintendo will be able to hold their own next generation against the sony and microsoft when it comes to graphics next gen i have faith again

#49838 VIDEOGAME LOGIC!

Posted by neverwinteru on 30 December 2011 - 10:56 AM

Fire burning in water that is floating in space. I don't get it...

Don't know if this really fits, but Mario can break bricks by punching them from below, but can only kill enemies from jumping on them. Why can't he punch them from underneath?

Why cant he punch them in the face ?

#49620 720p, 1080p... whats next?

Posted by neverwinteru on 28 December 2011 - 09:26 PM

theres higher quality than 1080p but beyond that it becomes pointless as theres only as certin level your eyes can even recognize before it all just looks the same
