Honestly, if you said you weren't grossed out by gore, I'd say to just get the game and not play it around the twerps.

For the image I assume is a wolf. The tearduct is pointing too low. In general for animals, they sort of point towards the nostrils. Also be careful about the pointy ears, wolves have small round ones. Very nice positioning however. They seem to be at about the correct place, and the angles are natural.
Judging from the owl picture, you seem to still be at that early stage where you pay too much attention at copying outlines. It's hard to explain, but try thinking of each part as its own three dimensional part, and not made out of lines. Once that clicks is when the frustrating plateauing begins!

I think it should be a user or parental setting IMO. I can see the use for younger children, but for everyone else, I think we prefer more instantaneous updates.

Yes, the big reason why most of us are disappointed is because we perhaps let ourselves get a bit too hyped. I still think Nintendo could have done better (like I have mentioned elsewhere, more than 2 franchises. At least replace that second Mario game with WarioWare to give a little more variety) If they had one more game that was at least as well liked as Pikmin (F-Zero for example) I don't think anyone would be upset right now. Pikmin isn't as big as I thought so it really needed something else to catch the other half of the audience.
And really? I thought it'd be good for you. I felt like all I saw was shooters and sports, especially after EA's conference! xD

But the reputation is created by the most recent generation. The handhelds are also a slightly different issue.
However, I doubt most devs will refuse to make Wii U games based purely on the Wii. Devs are smart enough to release games on whichever systems can support the game, which usually results in the most money.
It's mostly the consumers who get the idea that the system will trend the same as before just because of the brand.

The first trailer they showed hyped me up but then the actual gameplay disappointed me. :/ Oh well.

While I admit ZombiU looks pretty good, I was actually looking forward to Killer Freaks. :/ They just jumped on the zombie bandwagon... Which I wouldn't mind if it were separate, but oh well.

I hope it's not a pure username based system. Or at the least have a display name that hides it. I hate numbers and unnecessary things in usernames. I'd rather see my friend as Bob than Nightcrawler90. x_X Being able to switch between username and displayname in the friends list at will to recognize online friends easier would be nice too. Also being able to change your displayname at any time...

Um. I don't really care if it does or not. Mario isn't needed as long as the other launch games are good enough. Especially if it has a little mini games thing bundled with it like Wii Sports. (I'm thinking those tech demos from last E3)
I may be slightly biased since I'm not too much of a Mario fan... I just casually play a game once in a while, but I'd like to see Nintendo have less of a Mario overload and put out some less loved IPs and some new ones.

No, really. I know it's Pokemon but those styles have never been a launch title. Or any pokemon game, now that I think about it.
...It HAS been a while since they've released one though... almost 7 years it seems? I guess you can either take it as it's in the works or they're not making more.
