IMO the PS4 didn't blow the Wii U out of the water. The only huge differences I saw in actual gameplay was better draw distance, special effects and character model. The GDDR5 RAM will definitely give the PS4 a boost over the Wii U. But from what I heard about the CPU, it isn't that impressive. The main focus has been on the Jaguar cores used in the CPU. Not as much can be said about the GPU except for a maximum of 1.82 TFLOPS. So in the end, the PS4 will have a noticeable graphical edge over the Wii U. But it won't be anywhere near the gap of tbe Wii and PS3.
The developer percentage doesn't concern me. Yet. Even though I bought the Wii U because of 1st Party titles, doesn't mean I didn't buy in hope for some good 3rd Party games. Watch_Dogs looks very promising. It's a must have on Wii U for me.

Not to mention that there IS a GameCube version. For those who dont want to use the wii-mote. Plus...with it being on the Wii U it may get a bit of a face lift.

I don't see why not. I expect Sega's support to stay strong with Nintendo this gen. Wasn't there a rumor that Sega was going to reveal a new Sonic game this month for all platforms, including Wii U?
I heard a rumor that Nintendo was considering buying Sega. Now if only I could find that article...

How about this for comparisons. Let's say the Wii U compared to the PS4 is like comparing the 3DS to Vita. We all know which system has higher specs & more power and yet the graphics quality in some of the games on the 3DS surely do not disappoint and often surprise (Revelations/ KI:U )
That's a good possibility. Revelations looks amazing on the 3DS. I guess we will just need to wait and compare Zelda to Uncharted or something along the lines of that.

The gap will be much closer this time around. And I've been playing Mario and Zelda for years and they don't feel stale. Zelda is my favorite game series of all time. So if they stop making it, they lose a lot of fans. Instead of ditching Mario, Zelda and Metroid for new IPs and revived franchises, they could all coexist.
