If this is true, I think the most likely explanation is an F1 2012 game for the Wii U. I can't see Sebastian Vettel filming a trailer for any other racing game and the only game his proper F1 car would appear in would be an F1 game. It doesn't sound like the most reliable source though, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

I hope there'll be a large range of colour options for the Wii U. If there is only one colour available at launch, I'm hoping it would be black, as I think it would look better than white and it would make it clearer that it's a brand new console.

I wouldn't expect to see a huge range of colours available for the Wii U, as we have with the DS and 3DS though. A Wii U would generally just sit in one place people would only tend to look at it when they're changing the disc or setting it up. Handhelds though, tend to be more of an accessory and are also more personal, so colours tend to be more important to buyers.

It seems like a fun game to me. I'd definitely consider getting it if a 3DS version is announced. I think this sorted game is a good idea, as itshouldhelp together young kids interested in Formula 1 and in the long term could also help Codemasters sell more of their simulation F1 games.

The problem with this suggestion I can't really ban users for discussing games. You could try asking them to go to a private chat, but if there are several users who have played the game then they should be allowed to discuss it, and there isn't an option for group private chats. I'd only give out warnings/chat bans if a user was posting spoilers for the sake of annoying others. It's not ideal, but the only real solutions I can think of would be to ask them nicely to refrain from posting spoilers or to leave the chat yourself for a while. If someone posts spoilers simply to annoy other users though, you can report them and I'll look into it.

At the moment, the Chatautomatically kicks members after 30 minutes if you don't post any messages. You don't seem to be banned from the Chatat all either, and only mods/admins are able to kick users from the Chat. Are you able to access the Chat at all, or are you kicked as soon as you try to enter?

Do you have AdBlock installed on your browser. I Think it's caused problems with the Chat before, so If you use it, try disabling it. If that doesn't work, then try disabling any other add-ons in case they're causing the problem.

A few of you guys have been requesting this since the Wii U was launched last month, so I've now added two new sub forums:
Wii U Hardware Help
Wii U Games and Software Help

Hopefully, this will help to unclutter the rest of the forum from threads about minor issues with the Wii U. I've moved some threads into this section already, although if you see others, please let the moderating team know so they can be used.

I've also changed the name of the Wii U Games section, to Wii U Games and Software, to make it clear that both can be discussed in that section. I considered adding a separate section, but I didn't feel it would get enough use to make it worthwhile.

a new area for new owners of Wii U to ask questions in & ask for advice, maybe some current threads can be moved there or even pinned if they relate to audio or connection issues.
i currently mod & admin a few sites so if you are after anyone else to help out, i can lend a hand ,

I've moved some of the current threads to these sections, although there are quite a lot, so I'm mainly just moving threads that are on the first few pages of the forum. As for pinning threads, I'm happy to have pinned threads for any problems that affect a lot of users.

I'm going to be studying economics at uni next year (if everything goes to plan), so I'll probably end up with a career in finance or banking. It might not be the most interesting industry, but you can earn a lot from it. I'd also like to have some sort of job in Formula 1 for a few years after I graduate, but it probably wouldn't be a long term thing.

I'm glad Obama won. He hasn't had the best four years, but I think a lot of America's problems have come as a result of George Bush's presidency which many have blamed Obama for. I think that America will be better off with a other four years of Obama and hopefully he'll be able to really get Obamacare going (I still don't see why so many are against having free healthcare) as well as fix the economy.

I'd be happy for the forum to have some arcade games, although as I normally access the forum through my iPad, I wouldn't get much use out of it. The main issues with this idea is that I would struggle to add any games to the forum; Feld0 would probably have to do it and that doing so would probably take up a lot of time. As he would be doing the bulk of the work for this, it would largely be up to Feld0 whether he wants to implement this.

I'm not worried about the graphics of the Wii U. The demos we saw last year looked great, especially the Zelda demo. The screenshots of the zombie game didn't look stunning, but they weren't particularly bad either and it's probably in the early stages of its development.

It seems pretty steep for three games that cost £3 each on iPad. As someone with the iOS versions of most of the Angry Birds games, I wouldn't pay that sort of money for a 3DS version unless it has some significant differences from the previous versions.

You definitely seem to be one of the forum's older members, but I think there might be a few members who are older than you. I can't think of anyone of the top of my head though. I'm currently 17 and I think the average age is around 15-18.

If another admin is ever appointed, they would be chosen by Feld0 and would most likely be one of the current moderators. You can't simply ask to be an admin.

Retro gaming is covered by the General Gaming section and I haven't seen enough posts about retro games to warrant giving it a sub-forum. Thanks for the suggestion, but unless there's a large number of users who want this, I don't think there's much benefit.
