I think, really, we'll only get to see how much "better" the U is than the other 2 consoles by seeing future 1st and 3rd party games and also future multi platform games, once devs have had a bit more time with it, and assuming they can be bothered to optimize / improve thier multi platform games for the U, we should be able to see a difference more clearly.....probably.

My WiiU arrived today,(YAY!!)

literally as i was walking up the drive after coming home from work, the delivery guy and me got to my front door at the same time, and i have just finished updating (didn't take that long to do at all ) and setting it up, and i have to say the pad feels great! its light n comfortable to use, the screen looks really nice (game vids on the eshop look nice and sharp) and is really responsive, I haven't used it for any games yet, not got around to playing nintendo land and my copy of Zombi U didn't arrive today like i hoped it would, so don't know what thats like . but i have to say, despite my initial growing concerns about the U, i have to say im pretty impressed with it so far! Also the menus don't seem to take all that long to load, which is nice, so all in all im glad i bought it! now postie, where's me zombi U?!?!

I'll be getting the new xbox when its released, even more so if that Fable 4 rumour is true (love Fable, but not the kinect only one). Also, assuming all of those rumours are true , its good to see so many cool titles set toappear on the U , can't wait til next year to see what turns out to be true!

Ha! first time i played zombie u (its finally arrived woohoo!!) i had my wiiu set to surround and the game set to external speaker setting (or whatever its called) and i got the music and fx only, no voices just music and fx?!? very odd, once i changed to stereo on the U everyhing was fine.

my best was about an hour or so, was playing really slowly, sneaking through levels, checking everywhere for stuff, then came to the defend the safehouse bit, DEATH!!! new character....DEATH!!!....new character...DEATH!!!....new character....you get the idea lol.

Yep it arrived on friday just as i got home from work! my zombi u game arrived on saturday. have you checked the track order part of thier site? make sure its def been shipped?

That actually looked like it might be ok, the guy playing in the videos clearly sucked at it, but overall it might warrant a rent if not a buy.

Ive already got me wiiU and i'll def be getting a 720 at launch, not coz it may be the most powerful of the next gens (according to those rumours) or coz im a microsoft fanboi or whatever, but because i've had both the previous xboxes and most of the games i've enjoyed have been released on xbox. that, and i really love the controller never liked the feel of the playstation one.

I jjust wondered if there were any videos out there of actual wiiu gameplay for this game, all i seem to be able to find are the same old trailers as the other versions, was curious to see how the U version stacked up against the others? i know the dev said it would be the best, but wanna see it. i realise it ain't out yet but must be some gameplay in game stuff out there on t'net somewhere?

Just got 1000 points for 4000 stars, (got 850 stars left but stupid "buy 1 lot of points a day" rule means i'll have to "buy" 200 more points over the next 2 days!). But now im not sure which game/games to get? too many choices!

Agreed, if you want your games to look really pretty, buy a decent pc, if you just want great fun with GOOD graphics buy a wiiU...or 360...or ps3. i HAVE got a decent pc, (i7 2600k @3.4ghz, 8gb ddr3 ram, nvidia 560ti graphics card) but rarely use it for games, it just doesn't feel right gaming on pc i have no idea why, just prefer consoles for gaming. i have fallout 3, skyrim, mass effect 2, and aliens vs predator for my pc and i have played the xbox360 versions MUCH more than the pc ones. i do like the fact you can mod most pc games though, Skyrim can look REALLY pretty with mods. if the next consoles would allow that, then my pc would hardly ever get used!

I bought mine soley for ZombiU, once i finish that, the U will just sit there until something else appears that i like the look of, maybe i'll download and play some classic snes or n64 games from the eshop, but other than that it'll just sit there. But i wouldn't sell it! that way madness lies! cancelling your pre ordered U i can understand, why buy something you wont use just yet? but sell it days after buying it?!? WHAAAAAA???

i just bought super mario world off the wii shop on my wii u, gotta admit its a pain having to switch to wii mode to play it, the games are still awesome today and it would be nice if they were all on the U shop upscaled somehow all nice and HDish, and i could def go for some gamecube games too, didn't get many when i had my cube back in the day, so would be nice to pick up those i missed.

tbh i dont think we'll ever get official specs from nintendo, as thats not how the roll...erm thats what the kids say nowadays isn't it lol?, ninty aren't all about specs and power etc they are about the games and the consumer having fun. Although i AM a huge graphics whore as long as the wiiU has fun games that i like the look of then im pretty happy with it (ZombiU is schweeeet!), if i want stonking graphics i'll be getting a 720 or whatever it'll be called to feed my craving, coz most games i've liked so far this gen have been on the 360. if people need a graphical comparrison between the systems then i think we'll be waiting awhile yet, developers need time to get the most out of new tech, maybe if Watch Dogs is released on the U as well as current gen that'd be a good comparrison.

def use the wii bit on the U for retro gaming, get a cheap classic controller download the games from the store and you're good to go (just bought super mario world still great today!)

Just finished watching episode 3 of tomb raider: the final hours on XBL, and at the end chuck, sorry, Zac Levi, says "tune in next time for a special secret announcement that will change the way you play Tomb Raider forever". Now maybe I'm jumping to conclusions or clutching at straws whatever, but maybe a wiiU announcement and some sort of radical control system using the pad? Maybe?
