#178118 wii component cable, bargain!

My local 99p store (Southend on sea) has component leads for the wii, that's the wii NOT WiiU for 99p! Thought I'd mention it incase anyone here is an Essex boy or girl and doesn't have thier Wii hooked up that way. I've only got the WiiU so was no good for me, but might b useful for someone else.

Good idea, think that's what I'll do, you really need to start from the beginning to really appreciate ZombiU, that and I want to see how he copes with the opening no weapons just run scene, he's probably gonna die straight off lol.

The Wii U version of Watch Dogs is superior to those of the Xbox 360 and PS3, Ubisoft creative director Jonathan Morin said.

"I would say the Wii U version is pretty much in between what the current gen is and what the next gen is from a version standpoint," Morin told CVG.

"It's hard to position it. I would tend to say it's maybe a bit closer to current gen than next gen for certain things but it's a beautiful game on Wii U and it's cool to play it just on the GamePad."

Morin also said that, while there aren't any surprising features exclusive to the Wii U version, Watch Dogs has been optimized for "the beast that is the Wii U GamePad."

Watch Dogs release November 19 in North America and November 22 in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. Next gen versions will release with their respective consoles.

Just got 1000 points for 4000 stars, (got 850 stars left but stupid "buy 1 lot of points a day" rule means i'll have to "buy" 200 more points over the next 2 days!). But now im not sure which game/games to get? too many choices!

My nephew is coming over on wednesday, naturally i want to show off the wiiU and he'll undoubtably want to play ZombiU, and i think he'll need to play from the beginning to get the full experience, so if i let him start a new game from scratch, will it delete or overwrite MY game save? or can u have more than one game saved at a time? Ive already died about 6 times and have only got upto being sent to buck house, and i don't want to have to start again myself from scratch!

Trine 2 = 20 quid? is that a good price? having an xbox360 at the moment, im used to using microsoft points and not real money, and can never remember how much they equate to? wonder if thats gonna be the standard pricing for games etc about 10 to 20 quid? on a bit of a tight budget, not so tight i cant buy a wii U but still.., so would really like cheap stuff, hope there will be some.

I was going to do that, but in the end my nephew AND my niece (17 & 13) just watched me playing, i tell ya, this game is a blast when you got other people watching you who have never seen this game b4 lol, we had the lights off, curtains drawn, nice n dark with the sound going through my surround set up, and they were jumping & screaming at the tv when i was being attacked by the zombies in buck palace,(AAAAHH! RUNRUN!! ITS COMING! KILL IT! KILL IT! ITS KILLING YOU! AAAH NO THERES ANOTHER ONE!!) and really getting nervous and creeped out when i wasn't (aaah what was that noise? check your radar! etc etc) and afterwards both agreed the game is creepy scary as hell, and they both wanted it and a wiiu, you're welcome nintendo and Ubisoft. didnt even get to try the muliplayer part lol.

I realise that graphics will continually improve throughout a games development, but i think the difference seemed more impressive to me because although i have been following this game since its announcement, all the pics n vids etc that i've seen had all shown different parts of the game, it was only when i recognised this part as being the same part from the e3 demo that i really NOTICED the difference!

Was just watching an old e3 demo vid of zombie u, the one set outside buckingham palace? when i realised just how much, imo, the graphics had improved since then! took a couple of screenies from that vid and a new(ish) walkthrough one and it looks SO much better now. (note the fog! pics dont really show off the weather and lightning / lighting effects all that well but still much more atmospheric imo) i know thats how it should be seeing as in the first vid the game was nowhere near complete, but i hadn't realised just how far it had come since then. Have a butchers and see what you think. (god i really need this game and me wiiU! its getting SO hard not to watch ALL the vids on youtube and totally ruin it for myself lol! come on 30th!!). e3 demo pics are the left hand ones.

My WiiU arrived today,(YAY!!)

literally as i was walking up the drive after coming home from work, the delivery guy and me got to my front door at the same time, and i have just finished updating (didn't take that long to do at all ) and setting it up, and i have to say the pad feels great! its light n comfortable to use, the screen looks really nice (game vids on the eshop look nice and sharp) and is really responsive, I haven't used it for any games yet, not got around to playing nintendo land and my copy of Zombi U didn't arrive today like i hoped it would, so don't know what thats like . but i have to say, despite my initial growing concerns about the U, i have to say im pretty impressed with it so far! Also the menus don't seem to take all that long to load, which is nice, so all in all im glad i bought it! now postie, where's me zombi U?!?!

I hope not or I'll end up going with the ps4. I personally don't need or want my GAMES console to be able to do everything, I have a decent 3D blue ray player for my movies, a sky+HD box for t.v. and a nexus 7 tablet & HTC one x phone for things like YouTube Facebook twitter etc, I buy consoles to play GAMES on,I've never even looked at the other stuff my 360 can do, and I have no interest in kinect, the room my console is in is too small for a start, and I have no interest in flailing my arms about as though I'm being attacked by invisible wasps or talking to my console ( having to put up with the voices in my head is bad enough)! I just wanna play GAMES using an ordinary controller, that is good enough for me dangit! Focus Your 720 on doing that extremely well Microsoft or say bye bye to a lot of your customers!....probably....*puff*.*pant*..rant over...that is all...message ends...
