I've always loved WiiU, had mine since launch. Even the drought didn't bother me because I don't have much time to play anyway. They could roll out a great game every few months and I'd be content lol. Mario 3d World is just awesome.
I'm glad to finally see some positive press, I think that trend will continue with 3d World being way better than I could've expected. I'm rambling now but I prefer it to the Galaxy games, it's just perfect. If I get another console it's probably going to be PS4, and not for a while. Who the hell needs Kinect and voice commands and 10 million apps? I want to play fun games to laugh and relax. Okay I'm done..

I downloaded it earlier, it's definitely worth the $2. It's fun and the soundtrack is pretty sweet, but it's nothing spectacular IMO. It'll be fun for like 20 minutes at a time, but you won't want to play it for hours. But yeah for $2 just buy it.

I haven't played any other versions but whatever, plays pretty smooth for me. As for dlc, there's already only 1000-2000 players online. What percentage will actually buy the dlc? Is it worth it from the gamers standpoint?

I love WiiU. I played my 360 to death, literally I went through 3 of them. A few months after WiiU launch I traded my 360 and games and have not regretted it. I only play an hour a day at most, maybe a few hours on Sunday, so a "lack of games" means nothing to me.
There's already a few games out and tons coming that I really want, but won't have the time for anyway. I have no reason to buy a new console in the foreseeable future. Except maybe a Fallout or new Elder Scrolls game.

I'm more excited for this game than any Mario ever I'm pretty sure. I just hope it has lots of content. Like how Mario Galaxy had you go back through levels for different stars. Anyone comment on that? I don't want to read too much or watch videos, it spoils it for me.

Guys I'm not too good with computers and connections. I picked up COD Ghost a week ago and played a few days and had no lag and did very well. Now out of nowhere I can't even play, it's so laggy is just frustrating. I've reset my router but didn't help at all. Any idea what happened? Also using YouTube on WiiU and I can't even watch 75% of videos because they just stop after like 5 seconds.

Yep, Mario is the only definite Christmas season purchase for me at this point. Still considering Pikmin 3 and W101.
I keep waffling about CoD: Ghosts. Each year I tell myself, "I'm not going to get the new CoD. I'm not going to do it!!" And then I usually end up getting it anyway...getting bored after a few weeks...selling it...and telling myself I'm never buying another CoD. Then the cycle continues...

That's where I stopped for the night, let me know if you figured that out!I'm in the middle of the earth temple now. Can't figure out how to get Medli into that room on the 1st floor where you have to have someone standing on a switch in order to bring the bars down. There's a wall inside that needs to be destroyed by her light beam but someone has to be standing on the switch and it can't be Link because Medli apparently can't open doors by herself.
