P*ssed me Off I've got it pre ordered I got the money for it, I was gonna get it Friday it was supposed to be my b'day game

I know not everyone here has the same opinion as me and other Nintendo fans here. A lot of doom and gloom, Wii U is last gen, price is too high. And that is fine.

However, I want to be clear, the Wii U will sell well. Even if they are second or third this generation, I don't doubt the Wii U will sell 70m+ units in six years. But that is far cry from a failed console - the PS3, being third place, could have donr better but I don't consider the PS3 a failure. It sold well. And the same if the Wii U sells 70m+ units. I personally hope all the consoles do well - especially Sony's because they need to make profit quicker this time - because having three console makers and beyter compition will only make Nintendo better.


My main point, however, is evrn if the Wii U somehow falls flat on it's face and sells horribly, Nintendo won't "go the way of Sega" as some in the past has said/implied. Nintendo not only sold more Wii's then the others but also made a killing in profit. From game sells, royalties and hardware sells - Nintendo is sitting on a wealth of cash. Sega wasn't. The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast both wrre failures. Sega only had cash from the system and game sells, and if the console wasnt selling then they obviously weren't sitting on a big cash load. Nintendo has cash from the 3DS and games - which is successful - and all the cash from the Wii. They will be hurt if the Wii I fails, but it won't end them.

So anyway this was mainly for Nintendo fans. Have a good day!

Seriously, the wiiU is an awesome console. The whole experience on the wiiU is unlike any other console out there now. The gamepad is brilliant, the graphics on trine 2, black ops & zombie u are quality. Miiverse is a great way to socialise, and is almost like a game in itself. Specs clearly aren't everything, the wiiU is more than capable of producing next gen games, new experiences.
Makes ya wonder what the ps4 and 720 can do now, that will make them unique to current ps3/360..just increasing specs is pointless. Look at some of the games already on ps3 by the way, heavy rain, last of us comes out next year and beyond. They don't look like they can get much better.
The wiiU's unique gamepad and software makes this next gen gaming. ..the games are a plus

Yo ma peeps from Britainnn, how is ya all doin eh? LOL, I sold my Xbox 360 my PSP and all my games, I've pre ordered the ZombiU Bundle with Assassin's Creed 3, New Super Mario Bros U and Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed I went to a lock in last week at my local GAME and played the Wii U, whilst I was there I found out that we were having a midnight launch along side FarCry 3, even though I was told previously we wern't having one lol, 55 HOURS 7 MINS LEFT COME ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Yeah ok whatever, good job joining a forum for a "useless" gaming console, seriously havn't people like you got better things to do, seriously the internet has gone to the dogs these last few years uuuurrrrgggggg!!!



In 1 - 2 years time Wii U will be epic, it's £360 well spent, I can't wait for the many hours of gaming FUN!!
