My thoughts on these three:
Paper Mario has incredible graphics, haven't played others so don't understand complaints some have.
Disney Art has crazy implications. Perhaps the rumours of Disney making Nintendo movies were right, what if Nintendo makes Disney games? Ahhh.
Rhythm Heaven is omg. If you haven't played one before then do that now.
Color Splash appears to be taking the Sticker Star formula which in turn took away the RPG elements that made the first two games so well-received. In SS, you needed stickers to even attack and fighting enemies is pointless because you are only rewarded coins to buy stickers which you can find outside of battle anyway. The bosses are **** because you needed to get the right sticker or else you are *******. And don't even get me started on how they butchered the story to make it as bland as a normal Mario mainline game. Miyamoto wanted IS to only use characters that exists in the mainline Mario games which is why the partners are not present in this game. That's why SS is so hated by people who have played the first PM games.
As for the Direct itself, if last E3 didn't cement the fact that the Wii U is dead, then this direct certainly did. The only games shown that interests me are Monster Hunter Generations and Rhythm Heaven. The damage control for Federation Force is pathetic and the forced motion control gimmick for SF is turning me away from the game. And don't get me started on the on-disc locked conten-er *ahem* excuse me "amiibo exclusive features". They were cool when they first came out, but now they are overboard with it.
I have completely lost faith in Nintendo and they have a lot of convincing to do with the NX. Because that system is their last chance for me.
Oh and **** NoA for their ****** commercials they have been putting out lately and for screwing up the dialogs for FE:Fates with forced memes and unfunny changes (assassins don't talk hurr durr har har har).
