I Kid, I Kid! 3D World will be a great game I just expected something original from Nintendo, looking forward to it anyway :3

I kinda agree with YoshiWiiUGamer9, I love 3D Mario's and 2D Mario's, and I think 3D world will be a good game. My problem with it is that I was expecting a more open game with stars and huge levels from the new "3D Mario", like Galaxy, Sunshine and 64. Also hate the fact that they took the concept from 3D Land and not doing something new and it makes me worry if they are getting sloppy and rushing Mario games. I'll reserve my judgement until the game is out and I actually play it though.

I though New Super Mario Bros was to bring retro Mario back, and the 3D series to innovate/do something new. 3D Land was awesome because it was a handheld game and I think I would be more positive to 3D World if it was a sequel for the 3DS. 

Nintendo get the short 2.5d linear flagpole levels out of my Console 3d Mario!

That's seven games in 7 years, and I didn't count the galaxy games either because they're real 3D games. Which came in 2007 and 2010. Nintendo WTH happened to once per System? I'm looking forward to the next 2008(No mayor Mario games) for a quick break.

The star burst was the flagpole of the galaxy series.  It served the same purpose, to end the current platforming sequence and carry you to a new one.  Don't get hung up on the art style, this game looks loads better than galaxy, and it seems to be taking cues from EVERY SINGLE MARIO GAME EVER, not just 3D Land.  This isn't a bad thing.

 

Also, 3D World won't be 2.5D.  DKCTF is 2.5D.  Just 2D platforming with shifting camera angles.  3D World is a fully fleshed out 3D space that can be explored.

Yeah as I said I'll wait until it's out before I decide if I like it or not. Looking forward to the multiplayer a lot!
It's Nintendo that's calling 3D Land for 2.5d because it's 3D Mario played like a 2D Mario, or something like that. Since 3D World looks a lot like 3D Land (Not graphics but concept) and with the gameplay I have seen until now it looks like it's 2.5D

PS4 is going to make my life. A powerful, non extremely expensive game console that is about the games. Too bad online isn't free guess ill stick to PC for online games like Battlefield and Destiny.

Destiny is console exclusive, you could buy it on PS3 though.

So they are scaling it down for PS4 and Xbone, and a "full version" may come in the future for hardware capable? Then why no goddamn Wii U version?! Either they're full of rainbow or it's the slow sales of Wii U that does it, but with that logic how can they support PS4 and Xbone which have 0 sales yet since they aren't out yet except for some few preorders maybe if that counts.

Your eye won't be able to see 1080p at 22" that's why it looks so washed out.
buy a 32", I bought mine like 3 years ago an LG for 300, so they should be cheaper now. Mine isn't the best ever but it's not bad by any standard. 

Now that I can play X1 games offline I'll definitely get the X1 down the line when it's cheaper and have some more games like Halo 5/6 Glad you wanted my money after all MS

Imagine an exclusive world on the Wii U, Like a Nintendo/Zelda/Something world, It would be optional to go there. Sora would get a Link costume while there that also made him mute, he would get some kind of Zelda companion (Navi, Zelda or whatever skull kid something something) and at the end he would get a master sword inspired keyblade.

If you want them to succeed why not release COD on their platform? -.- 

This time we'll save Bowser so that he may kidnap Peach again at the very end to hint at a sequel.

People are saying things about 3D World being "based around multiplayer", but the thing is it's not. It's really just a single player game, but with multiplayer added on. Mario Kart is a game that is based around multiplayer and that's why it has online and local.

Multiplayer is really just a bonus in this game, and it's not nintendo's fault if you have no friends who are willing to come over and make use of it. Local multiplayer is much more fun anyway.

Local is much better but online should be included for those that can't afford several controllers/ don't have friends that want to play. The gamepad even have a mic you could communicate with or even a virtual keyboard on the pad, I would love to play with some of my friend's that live 2.5 hours away 3-4 times a week instead of twice a year.

Only time I cheated on Pokemon was when I had 550+ hours in Diamond and had the entire national dex filled out; I got bored, used action replay and used the walk through cheat to explore the game. Was cool to find that the three lakes also had a mini version of themselves in the overworld and not instanced like normal (Was like a 8x8 square of ankle high clear water). Oh yeah and creating level 100 shiny mew's to trade online for level 1 Arceus. I like to think people raged when they saw the mew but knew that a Arceus in level 1 wasn't possible without cheating so they couldn't get it XD ( No1 ever traded :[ )

Edit: No, wait I asked for a level 79 Arceus, I remember now XD Even better; Only one level from being possible >

How is this advertisement? I just explained what I personally are planning to do with these hardware products. I only linked the Kickstarter for those that didn't know what the Omni was. They are already reached their goal by FAR so whatever. Get one or not IDC, but I know I will, all I'm saying. I made the thread in case there where others with similar ideas around this or that would like to discuss it. This is general gaming right? So if I post a thread about a Nintendo game in Wii U games it's also advertisement?

When did I say this was an advertisement? You just said your dream and I said mine.

I never said for the Wii U, it could probably do it power wise but it doesn't support Oculus or Omni. I said for PC.

I'd rather have that official thing from Nintendo and not something that sticks out like all Nyko things does. Unfortunately it's only for Japan atm  

Being able to turn off the gamepad without taping the battery or going out of range. I don't have a Pro controller atm, but is planning to get one soon enough for multiplayer and certain games like SSB. Would be nice to turn it off during Netflix and stuff like that as well, I don't have it but for those who do And not like turn off the screen but the whole controller.

Nyko quality sucks, have been burned twice and not doing so again, I'll wait until Nintendo releases an official one. I don't care if it's mroe expansive.

I'd rather have a quality battery that lasts 5-10 years for 30-40$ than a shoody one that lasts two months for 20$.

But if you're happy with with it good for you.

It's not a big game in the slightest. This is going to be a digital game only.

There actually is a physical version for ps3 at 19.99$
