This same thing happened with that 50hz thing. People wanted 60hz for Virtual Console but when we got it with F-Zero, people moaned that it wasn't like how they played it in their childhood.

I just got a new graphics card for 199 on Amazon. It's the Visiontek Radeon 7850. And while it's under the 7900 series, the overclocking is most successful with rates up to 15xx mhz steady lol. So I recommend the Radeon 7850 :)

But if the budget is $200 - $300 you might as well go for the best you can. It will be the best in the long run. If you buy a better card now, you won't need to upgrade as soon later, so I'd say the 7950 would be good. Also I recommend NewEgg, Amazon isn't always trust worthy.
