So I just finished my match, and it was fun. Hated the pro controller, but it was fun. It did feel faster than Brawl, which is a good thing.

I'm going to at least learn how to use the Gamepad for Off-TV Play, but it's Gamecube Master Race for me.

I didn't like how they set it up compared to last year. Last year the TV was in the middle of the store for everyone to watch, and it was a big party. Now the TV is in the back corner and it was just a line.

Lol at people getting mad at ZSS stalling out the time to bring it to sudden death. If you time stall in 1v1 you get hunted down, unlike in free for all whrre you can get ignored. Not to mention Sudden Death is too unpredictable to rely on safely.

There was a disturbing amount of pop-in in Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the character models didn't impress me either.

But man, if you can handle some of the jank that goes on in last story and get used to it and enjoy it, this wont bother you at all when you are actually playing.

I know the last story got ugly on multiple occasions (when the camera wasn't focused on a character...), but that was super aged hardware. I just expected stuff like that to be gone.

It's not ugly character models and gross textures that get to me. It's lo-res shadows and pop-in that bother me in games. I notice stuff like that right away, and it bothers me so much because I feel like stuff like that shouldn't happen anymore.

Yesterday was a big vehicle day for me. I finally got Mario Kart 8 (and taught my dad how to play), learned parallel parking, and found out that the BMW my dad had for 12 years got replaced with a Cadillac.

So Nintendo apologized for not including same-sex relationships in Tomadatchi Life, and they explained why they can't patch it in. Obviously this started a Twitter argument about how that's bull.

The original bug was never 'patched out' and can still be performed to get 'same sex relationships' Just the game crashing bug was fixed. WHOOPS.

@Wydra well that seems to be the case with a lot of homosexual people lately and it's annoying the hell out of me. I don't effing care what sexuality you have unless you feel superior because of it.

I can't think of a good ability for a potential Mega Sceptile. The only one I can think of is Adaptability, but that would make it too similar to Mega Lucario.

But then you couldn't use Leaf Blade, Energy Ball, Rock Slide, etc. I'm not sure what moves it gets that would benefit from Technician besides Rock Tomb.

So there's an update for Ground Zeroes that made the console-exclusive missions available everywhere. I now have zero incentive to get the PS4 version later.
