Idk. I hope you're right. I know everyone keeps saying the console is powerful and stuff, and I believe them, but until we see games that represent this apparent power the console has, nobody else will believe that it is powerful (or "Next-gen").

@auzzie i assume ou only visit this site. I could post about 5 article just released today that are talking about Wii U doomed. I just think Nintendo needs to advertise more and get those GREAT December numbers out to the public. Let Wii U shine for at least a month.

just broke down and bought NBA2k13 off of 2k website for 20 dollars. i just love their games great basketball simulation the best... just sucks the ports is so crappy we cant even get clothes physics.

@sorceror12 yeah i mean from a gameplay standpoint its good which is why you play the game but from a graphical standpoint and overall presentation ps360 trumps it in ALL areas. people expected t launch even with the known specs of Wii U to see improvments in launch games especially sports games they are not that demanding.

A lot of people were upset when they found out Retro was working on another DK game. I get it now though this is their testing platform for the hardware, what it can do, and working out the kinks. I think we are going to see a starfox rebirth teased in 2014. i am excited for 2014 Nintendo games. Bring on DKTF

games on Wii wouldnt have shined because the Wii wasnt that much more powerful than gamecube and realistic games wouldnt shine. Wii U is a different story. We will see starfox, f-zero and many modern IP's not Wii music because the hardware gives them the chance to SURPRISE the gamer in ways Wii couldnt.

Right, because they aren't trying to hype up the GamePad to be this incredible innovation like they tried with the Wii Motion control.
You really are overestimating Nintendo by A LOT. They've already released "Wii" titles on the Wii U. I guarantee you they will have more.

@ envy yes they have and they should release titles that can be marketed to the MASS consumer not just a shooter or so called "core" gamer. But we already know 2014 titles will be VERY different. MK8, X, Bayo2, Smash, and i personally believe Zelda U will be a holiday 2014 title. they have heavy hitters coming 2014 and more "core" experiences or like they called it for more experienced players.

game. Do the same on the PS360, except their attach rate for that kind of game is much, much higher (I'm going to assume around 30%), so although the consoles only have 80 million in sales each, 30% of 80 million is 24 million sales, for each console.

Rockstar would have though about all of this carefully. Even though the attach rate may be large for the VITA, there aren't enough owners to warrant a game. Rockstar only goes after money. They won't care about anything else as long as they can make money.

You people just don't get it. Some light Googling would solve that problem.
First: He's the CEO of a mobile games company. Hardly, HARDLY an authority in the gaming industry, and someone who would benefit greatly from Nintendo bringing games to mobile systems.
Second: he didn't say Nintendo should disappear.
Third: he proceeded to say he saw great value in the company and called it a "worldwide treasure".
