Brawl was an amazing game, but what killed it was the hype. I know I'm not the only one who overhyped it.
It is superior to Melee, in the sense of it being a better game, however, Melee surpasses it being a better fighter and yielding a better experience.
I guess what also led to killing Brawl's was knowing the story and characters beforehand, like why Sakurai is getting rid of story because of the uploaded cutscenes.

@big bowsy: Brawl wasn't a bad game, it's just that Melee was a better game.

Maybe I should have said from a competition standpoint. But in the end, Brawl was a better game in the aspect of fun.

@Molester: What I meant by what I said was that, for example, CoD is released each year, no? Everywhere you hear CoD sucks 'cause it's released each year. I should of said that's of many reasons to not hate Pokemon. :p

Nah, most pokemon are pretty good. There's a few crap ones, but even Trubbish/Vanillux have usage.

SEGA's doing better than Nintendo, even. At least Sonic Lost World is actually bring a new, innovative game to the Wii U unlike the batch of rehashes Nintendo announced for the next year.
