you have to use the original controller method(s). the gamepad just acts as a screen

Eh...that's suckish. Kinda wish the Wii U gamepad could double as a CCP.

I agree. It is clumsy to have to have to sit with the gamepad on a stand and hold a wii remote with classic controller, or lay down with the gamepad on the ground and hold a remote & nunchuk. Since the gamepad screen is small it's also awkward to get close enough to see it well without holding it. I have a feeling that you would actually have to change something in the games themselves to control them with the gamepad though, which would mean that we wouldn't have the option un...

Any idea why it wouldn't work for me? I never tried it before the update so for all I know it could have already been a problem. But I can get online fine from the Wii U menu...not able to access the Wii Shop Channel though...it gives me an error that Nintendo's customer service page says usually means the wifi password is wrong...but obviously it's not since Wii U online features work

It looks like it's sold out. The front page seller has it for $25. You can still select Amazon.com as the seller for $15 but it carries a 2-3 week delay in shipping

Miiverse is pretty cool but it seems that at least half the time I post something, there are so many people posting that my post immediately gets buried and I never get to start an interesting convo/get a question answered

Only when the game is like 1 month old and even then this is not always the case. Have you tried posting questions? Even without hashtags you almost always get an answer.

Yeah. I gotta say, I really love miiverse. It's a great community. The mods can e a littel strict from what I hear, but other than that, it's perfect.

but they've never tried releasing a regular Pokemon game with the size and graphical power capable on a console. The console games are always lame spin-offs of the real deal, so of course they don't sell well
