Freedom Planet is less Sonic and plays pretty much like Rocket Knight/Sparkster on SEGA Genesis

Bowser Jr
Yo-Kai Watch is basically a modern version of Bakugan Battle Brawlers

How and when did we get to the point where a whole conference focusing on Zelda was a bad thing?

i think the let down comes from the delay, no NX news until later this year, and that's the only playable wii u game there.

Sure, that's fair. I'm sad Zelda is delayed, though it has only been pushed back (most likely) 4 months. I doubt they'd delay it past the NX launch. I'm fine with no NX news at E3, I love my Wii U... And considering I never get to go to E3, Zelda being the only game changes nothing for me.
We'll have to wait and see what happens.

They need to utilize that grand worldwide stage to showcase the NX and hype it up to the point where you would feel bad about yourself for not preordering one...but instead they focus on their dead console. Same old Nintendo, Iwata would be very pleased with this decision

Played the first like... 2/3 of the main SF0 missions. Loving the game so far, it's baffling to me how people can hate it so much...

I played SF64 3D a year or so ago. Only played through once, so I know I didn't get quite everything it had to offer.

No wonder you don't mind SF Zero, then. They seriously stripped down the exploration elements of 64, something you wouldn't really notice if you only played 64 once.
The original Star Fox is pretty much the best one, though, so you should give that one a try.

IDK, there's still exploration to do, some of it within the level itself rather than taking a different path to get to a different level. I should play through SF64 a few more times though. Is the original SF on virtual console anywhere?

This site holds a lot of nostalgia for me (first real forum I joined), and I don't usually feel the need to chat with people, but it might be fun sometime.
