I have the Blinking blue light of death.
The console does not even turn on.
I'm going to get a replacement tomorrow if I can.

Yeah, But its bound to happen to some people. I'd rather it be me than some kid on Christmas day.
Hopefully, I will be getting a replacement from Argos tomorrow. They don't have my model in stock but I'm sure it will work out somehow. Argos tends to be good with this sort of thing.

On the officalnintendomagazine it says that the Wii U renders Wii Games at full HD. Is this true?

It lazily upscales them, without applying any processing to the video at all.

It doesn't upscale them at all. It just ups the quality because it acts like it's running with component cables instead of A/V. Component > A/V

Ugghh... I was able to get through finals just fine, but now my cold caught up and is kicking my ass... Hopefully it will weaken enough for me to finish my secret santa tomorrow.

Uplay is pretty much an in-game rewards program for Ubisoft games. from what I can tell, just about every Ubisoft game has four objectives you can meet that give you 10-40 points. Each game also has four in-game prizes worth 10, 20, 30 or 40 points. I think the points you earn in one game can be used in another game, but don't quote me on that.
