Nintendo really needs to use standard usb ports. Like just Micro USB or something. My Pro controller just died, and I think the 3DS charger wont work, and Gamepad charger wont work, and mini-usb wont work. Might try to find a micro if one of the previously mentioed two isn't it. I remember charging it before, but cant remember what.

Pretty sure you can use third party chargers for Apple, at least I seen it happen, somewhat. I charged my Wii U pro controller before, just forgot with what, not just going to buy a new cord.

Apple will license some stuff out but overall they put a chip in cords and even ear buds sometimes. Apple also with the latest ios made it so clone cables won't work

So I just had the weirdest glitch happen. I was playing Project M and it somehow pulled Ivysaur's move data from Brawl. He didn't have an intro animation, no Down B, his Neutral B was Bullet Seed, and he would disappear when using his Final Smash.

lol this was front page of reddit yesterday. The ad is cut off; the game that 360 and ps3 have as an exclusive is different than the one for ps4 and xbone.

Doesn't stop that from being a parody of itself when it's exclusive on 3 systems. But that's games these days in general. Tomb Raider only on XBO..for 3 months. Titanfall only on XBO...and 360...and PC.

The controller? Yeah it is a bit weird, I got used to using the gamepad a lot but the weight of it and the size, poor battery life, and the pointless screen all bugged me.
So the pro controller seemed perfect :P though, the button placement is a bit awkward, I'm gonna end up pressing the power button instead of home A LOT I can tell lol... and idk, it's smaller and stuff but something feels odd about it.

I played Brawl with the Wii Mote / Sometimes (rarely) with the gamecube controller. Gamepad/Pro Controller I had no trouble switching to.

With me I always loved using a wii mote and nunchuck for brawl, but when I discovered how easy you can do smash attacks with a second analog stick, I just had to use the gamepad :P which I got used to, surprisingly comfortable, but I didn't like the weight or that annoying screen on it so yeah that's why I wanted the U pro controller. Haha ok. Just asking bc my toddler loves Yoshi and I wanted her to be able to watch me play a game with lots of YOSHI in it. Mario Kart has a lot but you're looking at the back of Yoshi's head the whole time.
