Unpopular opinion: I think Nintendo should just stop making home consoles and make most of their games on PC format. If they want as well, continue making handheld consoles and games that can also connect to the PC. Maybe I'm growing old of home consoles, but PCs pretty much outclass home consoles outside of cost and simplicity.

Sony has 18 billion dollar debt. 15 billion in cash. Nintendo has nearly 8 billion in cash and a 103 thousand dollar debt. Sony is more likely to go third part and abandon consoles. Wii U makes profit.
