They tried this before and they didn't like how it turned out. It was the second of 3 failed Gamecube games that eventually became Return to Dreamland.

They liked how it turned out. THeir problem with it was 'it was too hard/sophisticated' in the Iwata asks. Frankly. Screw appealing to the people who cant learn how to play these things, they are destroying gaming.
