Probably because the Vita has no games. Here at Nintendo HQ we use Vita's as toilet paper.

Same thing could be said about the Wii U.

WiiU: ZombiU, Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros U and some poorly done ports and shovelware.

Vita: Gravity Rush, Ragnarock Oddeysey, Person 4 Golden, Uncharted Golden Abyss, LittleBig Planet Vita, Unit 13, and a fairly large number of ps3/vita games of high quality like wipeout, playstation all stars battle royale, rayman origins, sly cooper etc.

 

Sorry, whilst the vita has the advantage of having been out for a considerable larger period of time then the wiiU, it does have more quality games no matter how you look at it.

I forgot I even had a Vita myself. Beat Gravity Rush and now halfway done with P4G. Besides the upcoming paper game I see nothing else for Vita sadly. I hope E3 has stuff tbh.

Funny thing is I've played my visa more since I bought it a few weeks ago than I have used my 3ds in 6 months.

I have the 3G launch Vita and the AC3 crystal white Vita, Its a great handheld, i can agree the amount of games is slim, but there are some great games on it. I am sure that the Vita will  progress fine just like the Wii U will once the ball gets rolling, it takes some time, the stench of fanboy war is just a little thick in this thread is all. I enjoy any console that can offer me an enjoyable experience.

I bought 12 games for my Vita at launch. I was only able to buy 2 for my Wii U. Even now four months later I only have 4 games for my Wii U. The Vita has loads of quality games to choose from even more so them the 3DS at this point and its not been out as long. I've got around 26 games for my Vita and only 6 for my 3DS.

my hell was this.

 

my vita memory card corrupted and sony has there warrenty for the card but there warranty doesn't cover corruption or loss of data great!!!

 

So i now have 4 ds handhelds still looking for a original ds though i  have.

Limited Edition Zelda phantom hourglass Ds Lite got it for $20.00 from gamestop the guy who brought it in would only get $10.00 for it so i gave him $20.00 with the original ac adapter there kid did ding the plastic by the hing but there is a hollow spot there in case you drop it so no big deal 

 

the vita can go suck a egg in my aspect the device has major issues the battery sucks no one can fix that not even nyko because nyko has stated the vita firmware reads the battery so they cannot even produce a battery the fact also is the device is online rigged where features work only if you have 3g so no thank you

 

MY DS Collection works great for me.
