[Distractionwolf]

I had been rotating a couple other user names that actually had more interesting and elaborate back stories lol. I did want a new one to use for some blogs and channels and things I was using mostly for gaming that I wanted to keep separate from my other pursuits. I went to a name generator and ended up with distractionwolf and it just cracked me up for some reason picturing an easily distracted wolf. Especially how its almost like a hardcore look how awesome I am name if it was any other adjective but distraction. It describes me pretty well I am both wolf like and...hey whats that over there! Oh my god it sparkles!

People often think it comes from the goddess or Artemis Fowl (never read those books), but it actually comes from Artemis Entreri. For those unfamiliar with The Legend of Drizzt or the Forgotten Realms, he's (originally) a lawful evil assassin with fighting skills on par with those of Drizzt, essentially a moral mirror of himself. While I certainly respect Drizzt much more and admire him as much as I ever have a fictional character, I once found many parallels when comparing some of my personality traits and methods of reasoning with those of Entreri's. Like Artemis Entreri, I've faced many past demons and overcome quite a few. Taking his first name for my user name seemed appropriate enough.

Mine comes from one of my favorite fictional characters, Ivy Tamwood from the Hollows series. It's a pretty good series of books but the main character annoys more than anything, I only read them for Ivy

Um well, mine's a bit embarrassing. My real life name is Ryan and my parents used to call me Rybie roo so I just took the Roo and ran with it, but changed the O's to 0's because I knew a lot of usernames might be taken if they're O's or the forum might expect me to have numbers so whatever. And I added bot on the end because robot.

I've never said this on the internet, so you are all officially winessing history.

My favourite series is the Inheritance Cycle. I was making a name for an MMORPG, that somewhat reminded me of the series, so I thought I'd use a name from the series. There's something called the "ancient language" in the book, a the time, I'd memarized almost every wordthat had been said in it in the series. "Wyrda" means fate in this language (2deep4u).

Some of you might have noticed that the spelling of that word and how I spell my name are different. I was devistated when i found that out about  a month or two ago. 5 years of internet history with a name was a lie. I guess it'll just  have to mean otter now :' (

A W R are actually my initials.  Reezy is just a funny ghetto slang name that I used when I signed up for Xbox.  My previous username (which was on PSN) was Cableguy13.  Pretty dull, so I wanted something different and A W Reezy just kind of rolled off the tounge.

Grandia 2 when i first played it in 2004. Liked the character but liked the name more. Used it on everything since. Accounts email,forums everything. I sometimes forget it's not my real name.

Anyways.

 

It's the first 5 letters of my name, Catherine. In the past it was mostly just shortened to 'Cath' but I started getting issues. Basically I used to lead a clan on the online game RuneScape so I was always talking with clanmates ingame. Now RS used to have a mandatory censor on bad words but the censor was a bit iffy sometimes and censored bits of words that were perfectly ok. For some reason, it seemed to think the 'h' at the end of Cath needed to be censored, so whenever people were trying to talk to me, it would come up like Cat*, with a * instead of the h. I got a bit offended that the censor didn't like my name so we tried spelling it by adding 'e' making it 'Cathe' and it worked fine. Eventually the censor was made optional, but the nickname stuck.

Before Akazury I always used abbreviations of my name. When I started playing WoW I needed a good name I could connect with. Reading through one of the guides I got with the battle chest I came across aka which stands for Also Known As. For the zury part I don't have a clue, in a way it just fitted naturally. Ever since then my username has been Akazury.
