Toki_Tori_2.jpg

This game is releasing today for Wii-U eShop so I thought I'd make a thread ready for this awesome game.

I'll start off by quoting part of a recent review from Gamers Xtreme:

Simply put, Toki Tori 2 is one of the most refreshing, unique experiences of 2013. Two Tribes has delivered a superbly crafted world to explore, with astounding visuals, charming audio and clever gameplay mechanics. The Wii U has become a prime console for developers to bring indie titles to and Toki Tori 2 is a stellar example of originality and creativity at its finest. Two Tribes deserves a round of applause, as Toki Tori 2 ranks up there amongst Braid, Limbo, and Journey. If you own a Wii U, there's no reason why you shouldn't pick up Toki Tori 2.

Toki Tori 2 will be available on the eShop today at a special reduced price at £11.69. The offer ends on the 25th of April where it will go back up to £12.99.

The game's full size is only 531 MB which is pretty darn good. It should take less than 30 minutes to download and install.

I can't wait for this to be released later today.:)

That's way too expensive for a game like that.

I have the first one on Steam...I can't say I liked it at all.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

I liked Toki Tori. The hard puzzles are hard.

I like puzzles. They don't yell at me, and I can yell at them all day long.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

This one is far better, it's more open world then "Finish the level, move to the next" I'm 2 hours in and loving it more than the first already.

Yeah, this smashes the first one out the park. Loving it. Puzzle's are hard though.

Agreed, it took me forever to do that underwater level with the crabs where you have to stack them.

I'm trying to get this over the weekend. I enjoyed the original Toki Tori from Steam and the GBC version ( off the 3DS VC). I'm loving the art style, charm, and open world gameplay. I think $15 is overpriced, it should be $10.

It's $13.75 until april 17th, and I was glad to pay the extra $3.75 to support the devs.

Supporting devs with your purchase is one thing if the game is worth it but paying more then the game should really cost is not worth it. That said I refuse to download games on the Wii U until Nintendo change the way the digital content is handled. By that I mean it is currently tied to the console. That in my opinion is unacceptable.
