Sadly, I don't think they care about him anymore, but yeah, it would make it skyrocket. It might influence a 3rd main or portable game, or even another remake. I highly doubt they will put him in though...

Am I the only one that went "WTF" when seeing this while reading the first post?

I'm not a fighting game gamer but, I would really love to see some Golden Sun love in the next SSB. The "original 8" + Matthew, Karis and Tyrell are all excellent addition. I would also vote for Sveta too... she could be a second Zelda/Sheik. Fans of GS will know what I mean.

Meowth needs to be playable, he's the only character cut from SSB64 who didn't get a spot in Melee or Brawl.
Probably not. He was only up for the first too because at the time he was a major character in the cartoon. Now he is just another obscure Pokemon.

Meowth is far from obscurity it's still the 2nd most popular in Japan (behind Pikachu) Also if obscurity had anything to do with a Pokemon being in SSB then Jigglypuff would've never been in Brawl since by the 4th gen it was an obscure Pokemon even by the Japaneses audience.
