Nintendo's last two E3 has been disappointing because everyone overhyped them. I'm not doing it this year. I'm staying away from IGN/GoNintendo/Kotaku or any other piece of news website that posts these false rumors.

I'm going into the show blind and expecting to come out with good results.

To be fair last year would have most likely been awesome if they hadn't pulled the Retro announcement.  They probably didn't feel they had enough supporting material around it.

I'm pretty sure they'll go and pull out all the stops thanks to (currently) poor sales. But if they do manage to ____ up I'll probably get a decent gaming PC.

You should have that anyway, and an e3 presser shouldn't be influencing that decision.

I feel for you, I'm about to have my first kid, I plan on trying to stick to Wii U and PC as well.  Not enough space for all the set top boxes, though I might get a 720 for the living room.

Of the many amazing things your about to go through, look forward to the day you can play something like NSMB U  together.

The older you get (27 here), the magic with entertainment comes with something like Lego City, when you are as entertained as the kids, and yet, somehow, that 'E' rating really means more than just a kiddy title.

So, at E3, we will see the new Mario, the new Kart, maybe, just maybe, Retro has upgraded the Metroid Trilogy to new textures, HD visuals, and drops it alongside whatever this other project is.

Somehow, I believe it will be a pants wetting 2.5 D Metroid that looks almost real.

I can't wait for that.  I remember playing Mario for the first time when I was about 4, it'll be fun to be able to share that experience with my daughter.

I'll just enjoy what actually does come out for the Wii U. As I choose the Wii U as my "next gen" console!

No console bias, I just do not have the time play every single game that comes out for each platform as they come out. This question was related to this year's E3. I have 3 kids, a demanding job, and graduate studies until September. My Wii U/3ds pre-order list has 15 items on it right now until year end.

I understand you guys very much. I have 3 kids and we enjoy gaming together. i just dont havve time to play every game though. i did just get a new job with better pay and more time off with the family. so im looking forward to having some gaming time also as its my main hobby.

I will not care, I'll be too busy playing my Wii U and 3DS to care.

Of course not. 3D Mario, Zelda, and Smash are far from creative. They're always the same thing. <--Is what ignorant people would say.

I'm pretty sure even CoD fans don't even call it innovative. They get the game because they want an early shot at leaderboards, which leaves either the really bad players who didn't get the next game yet and the people who are really good and don't want to give that up to get used to the new balancing. So you have people who are so bad that aren't worth your time, and people wjo are so good that they will wipe the floor with your face.

I'll laugh...Okay I probably wouldn't, I'm not expecting them to impress.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

I just can`t see things going wrong for Nintendo at E3. Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda there already make this the best E3 in years.

We will probably see footage for Ubisoft`s games aswell.

The only way i can see E3 being bad for them is if they can`t presente big holiday titles from 3rd parties.

I'll never come here again. I wouldn't want to hear the doom and gloom.

Luckily for me, however, Nintendo needs to show SSB4, Mario 3D, X, Boyenneta (SP), Wind Waker and it would be a good show. Give us some surprises like Retro Studios new project and tell us its coming this year and they will blow me out of the water.

They may not win this E3. Hopefully they can throw a big enough show with tons of games that look awesome. This is when Nintendo needs to be strong. With the others showing new hardware, those will get the most excitement. But if Nintendo can show enough games to make us gamers excited ... That's all they need.
