Not too long ago. Shin'en Multimedia stated that they would reveal 2 new Wii U games on Twitter.
Then somebody said they wanted a new F-Zero game for Wii U. And we got this.

I'm not saying Shin'en is bad I'm just saying Nintendo could do a million times better.

Maybe they are developing just a futuristic hover based racer. I don't think Shin'en is big enough to cope with a complete nextgen Fzero. I don't say they couldn't or have not got enough skill, just not enough capacity.
What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left

Actually, I could totally see nintendo gobbling that up to turn it into f zero U. They would probably also fill out the team numbers with their younger staff in need of experience.

They don't seem like a company you would hand over a first party title to create :s they are probably just saying "a game even better then f-zero"

If there's a new F-zero, i certainly think Sega has earned the right to develop the next installment. F-zero GX is still one of the best racers out, and it 2 generations old.
