Yeah all they said was the update would be released this week. It was only a rumor that the vc would be release Tuesday and that was never confirmed

Yeah all they said was the update would be released this week. It was only a rumor that the vc would be release Tuesday and that was never confirmed

 

For the record, Nintendo's NA website listed Excitebike with a release date of today. It's been taken down since the update was delayed, but it was up at one point in time. People have screenshots. :)

As long as the update gives us what we want, then im okay with it being delayed a bit.

I wish Nintendo wasn't so secretive with stuff like this that affects their consumers! If you are delaying an update, TELL PEOPLE so they aren't sitting back wondering when the hell the updates going to be released.

I find it amusing that people are complaining about the delay and accusing Nintendo of lying when they never stated an exact date in the first place.

What's your point they never said when the update was coming. All that means is that they had to delay the VC release because they're not yet ready to release the update. This is the problem with the Internet. Something gets announced people make conclusions and then get upset when their expectations aren't met. I mean seriously there are more important things in life. The update will be available when its available. Everyone just needs to be patient rather then accusing a company of outright lying. Delays happen. Deal with it.

Or it could mean the update was delayed do to VC. The point is there was probably a delay, this has nothing to do with lying. Please calm down.  :mellow:

Looks like it should be coming after midnight tonight.  Nintendo posted and pulled the update announcement on their website today.

Nintendo is totally digi danga... lol

 

I am expecting this update, so I can  calculate the date I will buy my wii U, I will buy the revision with this update pre-installed.. and they delaying it? Normally wii Us with pre-installed updates, coming 3-4 months after the oficial release of the update.. so if they release the good update now, the ideal date to buy my wii U, is August! (with all pre-installed)

By then, the Summer update will have been released.
