Nordic Games took on the series, along with Red Faction, MX vs ATV, Destroy all Humans! andSummoner as well as other licensed software including Marvel Super Hero Squad and Supreme Commander for a combined total of $4.9 million.
Hopefully they can continue where THQ left off.

wait what... Nordic games has Darksiders o.0 O.0 WHO IS NORDIC GAMES? And why has darksiders been given to people i don't even know about... am scared for the series now.

I looked them up, nobody has a clue who they are, but they're a steam publisher......

I'm glad "Destroy All Humans" was picked up, I'd love to see a true DAH game.

....Oh......That'd be even worse.
I know Platinum Games's head boss was thinking about buying it on Twitter, they do this alot but they really need to get out there and buy the franchise. A Vanquish or Metal Gear Rising Darksiders would be amazing. Now you have this company that is barely recognized and possibly making it a PC exclusive.

Nordic, a company that is relatively unknown, bought a whole bunch of ip's from THQ...and they had to ask people what they wanted to do with them. At least know what you want before buying it.

nordic, almost sounds like they are found a cheap publisher/developer start up pack and jumped on it. i think they will pick a favorit to release then try to build up money from there. hope they dont go PC exclusive, and hope they dont do terrable with their money.

Why? What was the point of it? Why not just give it to Crytek who has the developers of the original Darksiders series? It's one thing to own bought an IP, but it's pointless if the people behind it aren't involved. Lame.

Nordic are to all intents and purposes Jowood under a different name, Jowood were notorious amongst PC gamers for releasing unfinished and buggy games (Gothic 3 is an infamous example) and Nordic's reputation isn't any better. I wouldn't expect anything good to come of this.

THANK THE LORD ALMIGHTY EA NEVER GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a article on IGN talking to Nordic games, seems they know what their doing, I trust them, looks like they will do it right or not at all, which was the best I as a fan could hope for.
