I was playing Smash Bros Brawl's boss battles on very hard mode with my main Mario, Meta Ridley was the last boss to reach Tabbuu. His health bar was really low and my percentage was high, he went up seeing that he was about to hit the Falcon from above, and I was at the edge of the Falcon where he usually is. I dashed hopefully I could get a good distance to jump on the front side of the falcon, and all of a sudden I see Mario trip and fall on his face.......THEN! Ridley smashed the falcon with me in it. Off screen........Defeated.......

 

........This is why I hate tripping in Brawl.

(THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THEN ONCE... alot more then once) I use Yoshi a lot (specifically blue yoshi) and during Sudden Death i egg roll to kill the other player (sudden death is when you get a tie and both of you have 300% damage) so i roll, Hit the guy to the sky, then he appears in the background (ya know, when you knock them up and there 1000's of feet away in the background) but at the SAME TIME that is happening, when i have ALREADY Won... Booom, my egg roll carries on rolling of the stage and i fall into the pit. making me die while the other guy is still falling in the background. (You can't cancel an egg roll while falling... especially down the death pit)

i had this happen several times when I've played Yoshi... Truly sucks, I feel the pain bro. I have to agree this is my worst brawl moment too.

I once played Brawl's boss battles on intense using Pokemon Trainer, I got to the end and came very close to beating Tabuu when he used that shockwave attack and destroyed Charizard's last life.

 

I haven't played that mode on intense since.

Me and my friends play almost every week, and this happened to me....

I was doing the 15 minute melee, and I was using a trick I found online. It worked for my friend, so I decided to try it. It was spaming DK's down b over and over again. I used it, and it worked, until the 3 minute mark. I kept taking small hits that added up above 150. So of course a bomb-omb spawned right under me doing the hand slap. I still haven't beaten 15 minute Melee, and I've gotten 3 kills in 5 seconds in Cruel Melee.

I was in a big brawl tournament somewhere near Chicago and I made the mistake of choosing Kirby instead of my main character Marth. I suck with kirby in brawl. I'm experienced with kirby only in melee. So as the tournament went on, I lost terribly to a really famous and skilled player. I forgot their name but they used metaknight. With him having metaknight was bad enough, but adding to that he was someone who won many tournaments and had internet fame. It was not a good day that day.
