I would like to know how to host a Wii U tournament online. I know how to host a local one (that's easy) but I have no idea how to host an online one. Please let me know how if you can and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! (Games such as: Sonic all stars racing, and also wii games if possible)

Unfortunately there are not a lot of people who play online besides maybe on games such as Monster Hunter and COD.

 

Anyway to answer your question, most matchmaking is game-specific, so basically you just go on "matchmaking" or "online multiplayer" while on the main menu of that particular game.

What's the best way to get people to join? I want to host an online tournament with people I don't know, and the. Be able to rank people 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I was wondering how to only have people from the tournament enter the online match and not other random people. Is there anyway to do this? I could see it happening if everyone was added to my friends list, but is there a better way?

Make a thread about it here, build hype, PM people with the game you wanna play and invite them to play

There's a load of stuff I wanna do in Assassin's Creed III's Multiplayer but it's dead, and the server's won't stay open forever I guess a lot of people who got a Wii U skipped AC3 cos' it's the last one in the trilogy and it's the end of Desmonds Story Arc, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is probably the begining of a new Trilogy with a new Story so I suppose more people will buy that on Wii U, well at least I hope.
