I feel pretty good about it.  I am a light gamer though.  Slightly disappointed that EA Sports isn't going to have Maddens 2014, but it's not the end of the world b/c I'm not a huge sports gaming fan.  Will be excited when Mario Cart comes out.

Yeah, if you want to be able to upgrade to a newer one every year, then stick with PC gaming.

I did not like it at all.

I will not even buy it for the First Party games. If I want a console with good Nintendo first-party titles, then I'll just go back to playing the gamecube.

It is great! Just needs some games is all! It is a strong piece of hardware and I feel like it has a bright future!

intresting and mixed comments guys, heres my plus n minus points:
PLUS
1. The controler, its not to big, the screens great, its ultra responsive, n a game changer i think.
2. Mii verse is a great idea n a helpful n fun way to show off and ask for help.
3. NFS, FIFA, Tank tank tank, SMWORLD, COD BLOPS, The web browser, and Love film are the best software for me.
4. The hope of a massive load of new games at E3, not just nintendo but third parties too !
MINUS:
1. The whole thing is a bit buggy, mine crashes more than i expect.
2. Still slow after update, but a bit better.
3. Games i wanted being canned (even if reviews were bad i wanted to play colonial maines)
4. Developer bad press, i dont care if gamers slag off wii u, but when the guys who make games slag it off it worries me.

I do like it but it and i use it but its a bit like having a lamboughini without an engine at the moment, if that makes sence .

Agreed- I really like the controller.  The whole system has been growing on me.

There's just a savage lack of games, like there was when the 3DS launched. I haven't turned mine on recently. Hopefully in a year or two there will be many great titles available, like there is on 3DS.

I always buy Nintendo consoles at launch, but after both the 3DS and Wii U launch, I'll never do that again. I think it's better to wait at least a year. Then you can get the system cheaper, have more games available, and many of the initial software issues will have been ironed out with updates. The 3DS is great now, hopefully the Wii U will follow suit...

There is a lack of games, but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying the ones that are available.  I never bought many of the games that it launched with on other consoles (Batman, ME3, etc) but bought on the Wii U and enjoyed (I'm still working my way through Batman).  I bought ACIII on PC but on Wii U as well, and it was a good experience, as I never finished it on PC.  NSMBU was very good, I enjoyed it a lot, and my wife is working through Boost mode with me.

Maybe I just have my priorities a little straighter but I feel like I spend a lot of time playing video games (and my wife would agree, at least 4-5 hours a night) but I've been able to find games to play on the system regardless of it having a "savage lack of games".

At any rate, my experience has been extremely positive, and I play my system every night, though the game I play varies, and sometimes I get into Wii mode to play something entirely different.  I also have been enjoying some of the Panorama View tours that are available, and that has been fun.

The Wii U launch has the second most number of titles (after the Wii), so I'm kinda okay with it. I have four games so far, and I'm just at 60% in Lego City and haven't even started Sonic Racing (I did finish scribblenaughts but I lost my gamesave). That, plus all of My Wii games that I would enjoy replaying now, means I'm pretty much set for games for the next few months.

I'm enjoying my Wii U, not to the extent I would like to but I'm still having fun with it. I believe that will change once some more games that I want come out. Some of those games are Super Smash Bros. 4, Mario Kart U, Yarn Yoshi & Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem. I'm sure they have some other cool games that they're going to reveal in one of there Nintendo Directs around E3.

Im a bit peed off that i cant use the wii tvii part yet as that was one reason i bought it, i wish nintendo would tell people truthfully how long thing would take, after all we all watch the ads and e3 presentation and it gave me the impresion it was all working and ready to go, not nice nintendo not nice at all.

I love drawing on Miiverse! That's almost the only thing I do on my wii u. I like to think of myself as a proper Miiverse artist (500 and something followers so far) so I feel obliged to keep drawing lol.

It's growing on me- I wasn't all that impressed with Mario Brothers at first, but I've had some fun playing it lately.  Doubt I'll ever get close to finishing it but it has been enjoyable.

EA has nothing to do with GTA. That would be Rockstar.

Sad fact is that we have had the Wii U for almost 6 months and my son only plays Skylanders and Mario.

It is his Birthday next week and he wants a new Wii U game, guess what we are buying him?

Donkey Country Returns Wii because there are no new Wii U games for him to buy; he wanted Pikmin and Rayman and I have had to tell him that no new games are available yet.

Skylanders has been great though, every 2 weeks or so he saves enough in his piggy bank to buy another Skylander figure and that means he gets to look forward to the fun of choosing one and then playing it for the next few weeks getting all the upgrades.
