The only real information we have is their job listings.
Theyve asked for experienced hand paint texturers (this does not denote any manner of art style, both the prime series and dkcr use hand painted textures made by retro artists)
Theyve asked for individuals with heavy experience in physics, ai, and advanced particle systems.
What do we KNOW about Retro's game?

...i thought a while back someone from retro tweeted that the game would have lots of "Barrel-Rolling"...
...teasing that it was either Starfox or Donkey Kong...
That was official nintendo magazine from the UK.
The same guy who tweeted sonic would be in mario galaxy 2.
advanced particle systems.
Particles you say?!
But that's nextgen!!!
That neogaf thread someone posted, that guy mentioned mystery science theatre 3000, supports the idea of retro working on a space/futuristic game

So Retro IS making a PS4 game? I mean Wii U can't possibly do anything that can be considered "advanced", right?

Of course. Don't you know that the WiiU is weaker than the Atari 2600.

Stop making it sound like it has a chance. It's barely better than the Odyssey.

I don't even know what the Odyssey is, which just proves how under powered the WiiU is! I've heard it can't even run Pong at 30 FPS.

Ralph Bear, if I remember correctly, built and sold the idea to magnavox. The system did well, the second died because of no backwards compatibility (if I remember). It couldn't even produce sound.
And the Wii U can't either!!!!!!!

Sammy's art is totally concept art for mp3. You should check out his dkcr concept art. I just posted his art cause i was browsing his portfolio.
Raven blade was one of retros original ip's that got canceled in favor of Prime.
An open world fantasy adventure game.

Hmm so we could totally see a new Retro IP then, sounds good! But I don´t think it´s a game that `everyone wants them to make`.

Did they actually say it will be revealed near E3? Because lately I only see them talking about Mario, Kart and Smash.
Yup they did, or at least they said soon, as in "VERY soon".

Don't say that. Don't. No. Because if it ain't true then my heart can't take loosing that game twice!!
Lol. In all seriousness, I hope you are right. Raven Blade looked awesome, and it would be perfect to show off the graphics for Wii U.

Well, i dont know if its raven blade. Raven blade went through a couple name changes before it was canceled. But it definately looks like a fantasy game based on the contract artists portfolios.
Contract artists are hired for a specific contract, and not actually permanent party. So they are hand picked for the game in production, which means whats in their portfolio is 99% of the time exactly what the game in production is already looking for.
All these contract artists have very fantasy heavyportfolios. Dragons, temples, fantasy landscapes, knights. Every single one of them.
So vegas odds say its definately a fantasy game. Zelda would be the most likely candidate, however miyamoto himself said retros not working on zelda.
So, now we have fantasy action rpg or adventure game. And since thats all we ever knew about raven blade to begin with..... If its a retro made fantasy style game.... Its raven blade to me regaurdless of what name it ends up with.

I agree. But I want that sooo bad. Hopefully they are making a fantasy game.
Is there any other fantasy title Nintendo has, I wonder? Like an older IP?
