In before you sell your games for microsoft points which can only be spent on the xbox online store. so basically you're not getting money back, but points back to buy cheaper games.

I really think this console was a letdown, as a gamer I feel betrayed, thank the lord I let go of Microsoft earlier otherwise this would have probably hurt more, I feel sorry for you Xbox fans, this must hurt, MS arn't even a games company anymore...................

lol, so i can share the game i bought with my friend, but he has to buy it too. but im sharing it with him. . .lol (translation, you CANT share the games you bought with your friends)

 

Also, lol at trading in digital property. I buy a 60 dollar game, finish it, get 30 dollars worth of microsoft points back, and I lose the game. So I'll never sell a used copy of a game for money ever again according to microsoft. Mark my words, there are going to be scams involving this system. A LOT of scams.

Trading in games online isn't a bad idea IMO, but this execution is HORRIBLE.

Ive touched on the evils of this before, how used games, trading, renting, or borrowing actually becomes piracy because you no longer own anything to buy, but merely buy permission.... But it always went over peoples heads with out a clear cut large scale real world example. Well heres a big hairy 800 lb example of everything ive been warning about.

making sure no one actually owns anything they buy, but merely permission to 'use' it. Gamers become second class citizens, worth less than dirt. This is what the hdtwin generation and its blind hapless standardless userbase has let things come too. This is just the next step. The final layer of filth.

Piracy would serve them right. But its too good for them. This, and everything it stands for needs to be killed, quickly, and without hesitation, so their is no mistake whatsoever in the message that this is completely unacceptable.

I'm not saying that it would be morally wrong (civil disobedience may offer some justification) but you would probably get sued. I doubt that Microsoft would see anything from a consumers point of view.

The fact they have to have a used game policy is anti consumer. The idea of consoles is it's a cheap way of playing games. Instead of buying the games new all the time, being able to buy used games is cheaper. This eliminates that.

So why buy an Xbox One, and not just build your own computer?
