I'm happy about the WiiU now. People was hating it so bad that I was getting sad and even causing some flamewars, lol.

 

Now Nintendo just needs to know how to play and our WiiU will have a good life. It's a great console, I still didn't get why people was hating it so much.xD

First of all, I never said that the Wii U had "0 support". Of those six, Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed are the only games we actually know details on, so no, they're not all coming to the Wii U necessarily.

As for your second part, I was acknlowdging the disadvantages the X1 had that the 360 didn't (which routerbad pointed out). I still think it'll sell well, just not as well as the 360.

My main point I've been trying to make was that I don't think the X1 will sell badly. I guess I made a mess trying to make that clear, so sorry to you and routerbad.

I don't know how it will sell. It maybe the number one console of all time. Who knows.

Xbox One, however, will not get my money unless certain policies change. Period.

They do need to advertise the Wii U more so people understand what it is. Just yesterday I was talking with my Dad and he thought the Wii U was just a handheld and not a console.

I agree. Speaking of marketing, has anyone else come across the full color pamphlet they have on the Wii U that stores are giving away? I found it in Kmart in a display right in front of Wii U console boxes. It's a nice full color pamphlet of course listing the features and what it offers over the Wii (the differences) and has some nice marketing in for some of the games currently out.

 

It appears to have been made in March because in the back of the pamphlet it lists Injustice and a couple other games as coming soon, and they were released in April.

I think as many people have said in other posts and other threads, that they are waiting for a price drop and more games from Nintendo, and I am guessing that after Nintendo reveal a hoard of games just before E3, the console will begin to sell well in the running up to the winter holiday season.

 

I feel that now many people will look towards the Wii U after the summer, as it will be cheaper and the games will start to flow, plus the backwards compatibility, no fees etc, plus people who haven't owned a wii, it will be like owning 2 new computers, and they will realise the wii has some decent games hidden among all the "casual" games, they just have to dig a bit deeper. lol

 

For me though sure Wind Waker will be great, but I would like a new high quality Zelda for next year, preferably with a Twilight Princess feel, and the lens of truth for the gamepad!

Because if someone is having a change of "taste" or deciding upon the Wii U, they may decide to give some Wii games another chance. The back catalog is vast and even though perhaps they didn't care for the console, I am sure there were some games they wanted to play. Now, it will be much easier and less of a hassle as they can enjoy last gen and the new gen in one compact and quiet console.
