They fixed Vista?
All joking aside, they did fix it rather well. I've been using it for a long time, and haven't had that many real issues.
Xbox One conference had fake applause coming from their own employees.

The wii u sales have been weak. True.
But it also has a poor lineup of games ATM.
Even so, wii u sales spiked tremendously directly after the x1 reveal. Apparently, people on the fence were convinced the wii u was a good buy after seeing less than compelling evidence from ms so far (maybe e3 changes that again).
Count me among that camp. I bought a Wii U two days ago after deciding that the Xbox One and PS4 reveals were everything but what I wanted them to be. And what I wanted them to be was not consumer abusive with all their various restrictions.
