It sounds like Sony who is running out of ideas is copying Nintendo again if you ask me.

Indeed, but what a way to sell the Vita!

Sounds like they copied Pikmin 3.

The Vita Crossplay function was originally something that was supposed to be implemented with the PS3, but it didn't. With the PS4 around the corner, it seems they delayed that function for it. The same happened to Pikmin 3, which was a originally a Wii title, later delayed for the impending Wii U.

Actually, it wouldn't be a copy since neither company would've known the others' intentions.

Good to see they haven't abandoned that feature. Could probably move some Vita units in the near future.

Beautiful. It's a good way to create another use for the Vita as well.

Also, Sony did this before Nintendo with a few PS3 games, so no "copying" was done.

This is actually a good thing for both the PS4 and the gaming industry.  More competition for the second screen idea, and it may spur vita sales.  I will most likely pick up a vita when it starts selling for less, I expect them to announce a price drop at e3.

Its a great thing because it opens up even more gameplay options on Sony platforms.  Well done Sony if this is true.

As long as it's never a requirement, I don't mind more options. I'm all for it.

Who cares if it is copying or not, as long as it gives us more options for playing our games and letting people all be happy in the same room in the case of specific situations then all is good. I like this idea very much because I know how things can be when someone wants to use the TV and you want to play a game.

PSVita is losing steam, I don't know how Sony are keeping this up, they should drop it and concerntrate on home consoles like MS, Look at the PSP sales compared to the DS and the PSVita ones compared to the 3DS, it's obvious that Nintendo and Android/iOS dominate handheld, this is a huge waste of money for Sony......

Every PS4 except the basic kit comes with a Vita. Some games will take advantage of and require the Vita's screen.

Just my guess.

It will boost Vita sales a bit... But it won't quite work like the Wii U does.

Vita's expensive as it is, i really doubt there would be any sort of bundle  for the two.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.
